Recommend to purchase. Works good and easy to use.

This is a wonderful starter device. Even though it's lightweight it's fairly durable, too. My 12 year old has flown it into a tree at least twice trying to get the hang of it! It would be nice if the quickstart guide actually had a few more details as far as starting-there does seem to be a delay on start up. Hadn't been able to try the camera, yet.

I bought this as a graduation gift and they were excited to receive it.

For a beginner or someone just wanting to have fun. My professional husband wasn't thrilled. He stated it is hard to control and "has a mind of its own".

Very easy to use and nice camera quality for the price.

The drone is not that difficult to assemble. All parts and tools are included. They supply 3 batteries, one in the drone, two in the box. Flying time per battery is 12 minutes. The drone and remote must be paired each time you turn the drone and remote on. Not a problem and understandable. The drone also has to be calibrated each time you turn on the drone and remote (controller). It's usually windy here so had to wait for calmer days to try to fly. First flight: Taking off from the ground is easy using the remote. Drone is very quick to respond to all controls and with practice can be controlled easily. I had difficulties adjusting the trim to get the drone to hover in one spot. I think with more practice I'll get it down. If you use the take off/ land button on the remote, the drone drops rapidly and lands hard. Twice the hard landing flipped the drone over. The propellers continued to spin and I had to pull the left control stick to the back and hold for 3 seconds to stop the props. My concern is that if that happens too often the plastic gear that drives the props might get damaged. The drone is very quick on response and flies easily, but to the novice it may be too difficult to control. There was little wind when I tested the drone this day, so I could not evaluate the effect wind might cause. I tried the app on my phone, but it was a little too complicated to use on this initial flight. A thorough reading of the manual to completely understand how the app works is necessary. Because of this I didn't get to use the photo/video buttons. I had great difficulties trying to hover the drone because the trim buttons weren't as responsive as I had hoped. I did not attempt to use the one key return, or headless mode because I ran out of battery power. I think that with more practice I'll be able to fly the drone successfully using all of the features. A good drone for a beginner, fun and a challenge to concentration. Not a drone to lose focus on. Second flight: I flew the drone in calm weather and was pleased that it responded well to the trim buttons. After hovering, I rotated the drone successfully and went into "headless" mode. It responded very well. I attached my phone (Samsung) to the remote and discovered that the clamp pushed the side button and turned the screen off. Again I couldn't use the app. I'll probably cut a slot in the top of the clamp to correct this. The wind kicked up and was measured at 9 mph gusting to 14 mph. The drone was extremely difficult to control, so as the manual suggested, I switched to high speed and brought it under control. However, trim was not successful and a high gust took my control away. I dropped the altitude to approximately 50 feet and tried to regain control unsuccessfully. The wind was taking my drone into trees so I had to land it roughly. Again the drone flipped over and the propellers continued to spin. This drone is very light and should fly in very calm winds. All in all, I would recommend this drone as a starter drone and then move up to a larger more durable drone as the pilot's experience and skill develops. I enjoyed flying this drone, and look forward to learning everything it has to offer. My husband contacted support twice. The first was to ask what was the effective range before losing control and 2nd was to inquire about replacement parts. He received no reply from either email.

This drone is definitely a starter drone. Takes off too fast to maneuver properly, but sturdy enough to take some falls. However I would not buy this model again.

Nice construction, easy assembly and nice controls.

Do not waste your money. We have many years of drone experience but needed an additional drone shot, so we purchased this drone to help get a quick shot to go along with our more expensive drone. It took an hour to stabilize to get in the air, and once in the air, it took off and did not respond to the controller. This Drone was lost over a lake in deep water! By the way we did not get the shots!

Great idea for a gift, just have to read the instructions on how to use it.

Its only good for a one time but its slow but it will brake easy

Battery doesn’t last long. It’s hard to calibrate it and it’s really light.

This drone is a knock off it's cheap and it don't do much of anything. The price is to out ragis for this item it's not worth the money that's for sure and they won't make it better either so that you feel like you have gotten a good deal they just blow it off and pretty much tell you to suck it up.

Literally plugged the battery in turned around to grab the other one and the first one caught on fire

I purchased this for my nephew, who has a track and field timing business. He loves to use it for aerial shots of his races. This is a great gift.

I got this for my Son. Told him that it’s his Xmas present (wrapped up) and that I have no problem if he….(he anticipated I knew what I was going to say, and just teared away at the wrapping)…anyhooo! He was excited that he took the time assembling to then fly indoors. Mind u he didn’t bother syncing up to his phone yet! This is an affordable drone for those that done want to shell out “DJi” Drone money. Worth it!

Good for flying in NO wind with short flight path. Very beginner friendly. Delayed reaction times caused flight loss several times

Plenty of power for the weight, but the weight is so little that even a slight breeze will toss it around like a leaf. I had to put it on high power and turn it into the breeze just to get it to hover. And as of my third flight session, the camera no longer records.
