If you want to laugh this will do it! A real blast from the past this comedy is. Be advised though no matter who you are prepare to be offended this knows no social boundaries! High def TV's are hard on these videos. They only show in a limited box and on big screen sort of appear blurry due to being super sized, so they are showing their age... faded and staged and in some of them even the mouths are off with the sound but its is a classic! Overlook it its worth the laughs!!

Watched this program religiously when it was on the air; missed it so much, I had to purchase the complete series! Am enjoying it just as much as I did all those years ago!

The third season of "Soap" is another whirlwind of comic activity chronicling the highs and lows of the Tate-Campbell families. Significantly, after two seasons of background performances consisting of being asked to leave the room while the adults talk, Jimmy Baio finally gets his own front-and-center storylines: a rousing farce in which he is held hostage by the Sunnies cult, and later a story arc that has him dating his high school teacher on the sly until his 18th birthday arrives. Richard Mulligan is also given more to do than usual this season, as his Burt Campbell is held hostage on an alien spaceship while his "double" takes his place on Earth (the little green fellow is especially excited by this prospect because he hasn't had been with a woman in over 2000 years!); later, Burt attempts to leave his mark on the world with endless attempts to break a Guinness record, then runs for Sheriff of Dunns River. Meanwhile, further marital problems plague Chester (Robert Manden) and Jessica Tate (Katherine Helmond), Jodie Dallas (Billy Crystal) fights for custody of his baby, Danny Dallas (Ted Wass) begins an interracial love affair, and Benson (Robert Guillaime) is spun-off into his own series. Confused? You won't be after watching Season 3 of "Soap".
