Where Marvel currently excels in making live-action features that put butts in theater seats, DC Entertainment's Animation Division continues to create amazing adaptations of some of DC Comics' greatest storylines. However, Son of Batman is an exception. This one is not really a great follow-up to their two part adaptation of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, and uses the story arc written by Grant Morrison as a creative starting point to tell the story of Batman's illegitimate son, Damian, whose mother was Talia, the daughter of the Dark Knight's arch-nemesis, Ra's al Ghul. The animation is average, and the voice acting not as good as previous DC animated films. Still, its worth a look.

Batman has a son! I did not know that until I bought this movie. I have been a Batman fan since I was a little kid. To think that Batman has a son I guess keeps the Caped Crusader's story more interesting. I'm glad I bought this movie!

Im a 33 year old man who loves the DC cartoon moves that come out. This is one of the better adaptations of the comics. Plus. I love Damien Wayne. One of the best characters written in the DC U right now.

DC makes more animated movies than live action movies. These animated movies tell great stories and are based on comics and graphic novels. This one is based on the fact that Batman has son named Damian, who comes into his life and has a few adventures. I liked it.

Another classic movie to add to the DCAU collection. Storyline is great and the voice acting is terrific. Really enjoyed seeing Damien on screen. Only problem was that Deathstroke was pretty weak, overall excellent movie though. Definitely recommend checking it out

I love Batman animated features and this did not disappoint. It is a little violent and I would not recommend for anyone under 13. I like Justice League WAR better from the DC Animated series; the guy playing Batman is the best since Kevin Conroy

Best Buy delivers again with their DC Animated Exclusives. Totally looked forward to this movie and exclusive figure - Deathstroke! Not only did I pick up one of these movies, I picked up 2! Hope Best Buy comes through again with the next DC animated exclusive!

This was an execellent batman animated movie , I feel they get better and better , this I noticed was nore adult , they showed blood and I thought the story was great , the voive acting was on point and I cant wait to buy the next one !!

The DVD was worth watching for Batman fans. If you just started to watch Batman, you would not understand the relationship of his love interest. It is a complex one, but well done in the comics from the 80's and 90's. Not touched on to much here.

My son and I really enjoyed this movie. The story is decent and the animation is top notch. Not as good as some of the other DC animated movies, but still a very good story and my son is glad to have it as part of his collection.

Batman is introduced to A son he did not know we had who has a very similar temperament to his dad. The storytelling in the artwork of this film are done very well in furthers the Batman storyline even more. Great entertaining movie!

I always loved DC animation movies and their TV series. I have to admit I'm a real big fan of the original Batman Animated series so it took me a bit to get used to this one, but the story was great so it was almost seamless.

I like the new batman design for the new dc movies that are coming out. the action scenes are amazing and this movie is probably in my top 5 for DC animated movies for sure i just wish the best buy i went to had it on Blu-Ray

Another great movie for the DC movies, they are really stepping up the stories on these, great way to find out about his son, and the relationship they built together....when the arguments where funny....u will enjoy it.

This Batman story is interesting and fun to watch. There's lots of action, and a good amount of blood, so if that's not your thing consider this your warning. But this is a fun movie to watch, what more could you want?

If you are a fan of Batman, or follow Batman stories at all then this is a must have for your collection. This is a great animated adaptation of the comic story. I highly recommend this movie as well as any of the other DCU movies.

Great story. A little different from the comic book. However I can not be displeased at the story line. If there is a movie behind this one, I hope they include Nightwing more.

Since I remember I have been a big fan for Batman, this movie feels like Batman is a super hero that you know, but the human that we still trying to know. The movie is great, voices are remarkable and the BD bonus are really cool.

I don't buy movies I have never seen before but with the DC animated movies, their the Best! This is one is a great one! I know it is based on the comic book I've not read. I liked the story so much I wanted more!

This film is based off a very good comic story and unfortunately it misses the mark. The voice acting is good and was very well cast, as DC animation studios usually does; however, the story itself felt rushed and lacking. While the art style did seem a little simplistic, it made up for any lack in design by lots of action. Some scenes even felt unnecessarily violent and could have benefited from a softer approach. Overall, this was not one of my favorite DC animated films and I wish I would have rented it. It's not terrible and it's not great but I probably won't be watching it again any time soon.
