Was able to purchase on sale, and glad i did. They are very powerful in combination with my yamaha reciever. Great build quality, and you can direct the cone in any direction.

Decent set of speakers, using it as an atmos speaker so it's not on all of the time. Be careful to check the template before you cut into the ceiling, I cut my template smaller as it seemed to be too large and once the hole is cut too big, you can't really go back. Get on sale, you'll save yourself a ton of $

Once I got them installed, they sounded fine. I use them for ceiling atmos speakers, and I haven't critically listen to them. They timbre match enough that they aren't distracting. I bought them open box, and they were basically new looking, but the package was previously opened. 1 star off because the retail price of $999 is just disrespectfully dumb. Don't buy them for more than $300.

I ordered 3 sets of speakers on Dec 3, for a Christmas gift I did receive 2 packages on the 4th of December. and waited for the 3rd box I did not get for the holiday. I called at the end of December and was told UPS lost it. I asked them to send me another one. A week later I went to the store and asked them to send me the speaker. I was not able to speak with the manager. The cashier gave me a phone # to call for the home office. I called and asked for them to send me the speaker that they charged my card on Dec 4. I waited 10 days and did not receive the speaker. I went to the store for the fourth time. they called a number and let them speak to me, I was told the ups lost and they are trying to find it. I was so upset after screaming they sent me the speaker on Jan 17, Not even an apology the worst service in my life. I am so upset with them and will send my review on all sights I can find to let people know
