Awesome sound, back to the beginning, old school music

the long wait is over for some awesome new U2 music!!

Good album, not the best music they have made but I still enjoyed it.

If you read the story about the album it makes the songs even better.

It's okay - nothing to write home about. Shame, really, because the last 3 albums were pretty good (and Atomic was great.) I bought it because I have most of their other stuff and I had some Best Buy Rewards money to use. Plus it was on sale. Would I have pulled full price or cash? Nahh.

This is the first U2 album which has not garnered my close attention upon first listen. It could have been muzak - I fell asleep before it was over. It's sad when a titan is no longer relevant.

I bought it even though its free. The bonus disc was pretty decent, though unnecesary.

In having purchased every CD U2 has released, I can confidently say this is their most uninspired release to date. They seem to be striving to make a contemporary pop record & in their attempt they've begun to sound like everything else that is slick, polished & plastic on the radio.

Its still U2, but off the top of my head I cant think of any songs that stand out.

U2 continues to put out some amazing music. They continue to remain current and evolve with their music . This is one of their best CD"s.

Another brilliant album by a brilliant band. U2 will go down as one of the best in rock n' roll history.
