Great game, hard to learn

The only fault is how hard it is to learn how to control. The turning is a little hard to get used to. also, the menu is very frustrating to scroll through. All in all, this game is great and i would definitely consider buying it.

Kids say it is hard to set up for two players

Great "kart-style" racing game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you enjoy Mario Kart, Tony Hawk or SSX style racing games this game is a lot of fun and really challenging. I own about half of the Kinect games released thus far and I'd say Sonic Free Riders is one of the most fun kinect games. The challenge level is definitely meant for hardcore gamers and there is a lot of content here. The game has tons of options including 2-player multiplayer and online play. The game really does give a great sensation like you are actually on a hoverboard or skateboard. But make sure you are in great shape to play this game because you will be moving and jumping a lot.

Great game for children and adults of all ages.

Not so great

The menu system is a pain - it should be made more simple so it doesn't take forever to start a game. Once in the game, while it can be fun when it is behaving, much of the time it does not respond the way you want it to, and for some reason if you're playing 2-player, only one of the players works properly. I realize this could be because of my playing space, the amount of light in the room, Kinect calibration, etc, but we don't have much problem with other Kinect games.
