My little brother loved this game as a gift for his birthday

This is the only modern Sonic game that I actually enjoyed. The classic aspect is nearly perfect apart from the Genesis Sonic games. The only negatives are for the story and the modern gameplay shift.

SEGA did a great job of mixing the old and new style of Sonic. The game brought me back a lot of good memories of the good old Sonic and also let me experience how Sonic could be with advanced graphics and technology. This game is a must-have for Sonic fans!

Great everything. No gaming flaws. Best graphics ever. Extreme sharpness and coloration. Flawless music. And this game combines the best from 2d and 3d Sonic, reuniting fans. This is a unique, and beautiful game and I can't wait to see how many records it breaks!!

One should only buy sonic games for the gameplay and not the story. The story for this one is pretty bland but the gameplay is more than awesome.

I bought this game day one and could not stop playing it. Sega really outdid themselves when it comes to Sonic Generations.The 2d stages with classic Sonic do a great job of capturing the true essence of the old sonic games on the genesis while the 3d stages with modern Sonic have better control than the previous games, making it a very fun experience. I would definitely recommend this game to Sonic fans as well as any gamer who's looking for a fun game to play.

It was a blast. I've been a Sonic gamer since Genesis and even though it isn't as good as the originals it was nice to see a reamped versions of some classic levels. There were a few challenging parts but overall fairly simple and a decent story line. Would highly recommend it for any Sonic fan.

I actually have two versions of this game, this one and the PC version. The graphics are amazing in both, as is the gameplay. I have only played the PS3 version in 3D, and it has excessive "ghosting" that distracted me so much that I ended up just turning it off entirely. Overall the game is an AWESOME platformer, if a bit challenging for some players. Playing the revamped levels from the Genesis and Dreamcast eras especially brings a smile to my face each time I play, though the Sky Sanctuary and Speed Highway Zones are somewhat headache-inducing.

I really don't need to say much about this amazing game. Outside of the final boss and a few audio issues, the game is just amazing.

I remember Sonic from when I was a kid. This is really easy game for kids and fun to play with them too. Only down side is that I have not figured out if you can do two player or not.

It's an awesome game, but I was hoping for a Crush 40 song at the end. Relive select levels of the Sonic Games, like Green Hill Zone, City Escape, and Rooftop Run.
