Im so glad i picked up Sonic the Hedgehog 2 steelbook

i thought this was a decent sequel, i enjoy the characters and i enjoy the vilians as well. also enjoy the story of these films

SONIC 2, what's not to like? If you enjoyed the first, then there's even more to enjoy this time around! I know I wanted the 4K edition on this one and opted to go with the Best Buy exclusive Steelbook. Mainly because Paramount is getting stingy with their current releases and are not including a regular Blu-ray in the combo sets anymore... just 4K and Digital. But, the Best Buy exclusives still contain BOTH discs. I usually don't get Steelbooks, as they scratch easily and are always covered in fingerprints(especially the titles bought for our kid). So, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Best Buy is also putting a transparent slipcovers over their Steelbooks now. Double bonus! All around great deal!

Absolutely gorgeous steelbook arrived in perfect condition. Thanks for using a box as always. I thankfully haven't gotten an envelope yet as I order these steelbooks, so my items arrive undamaged. The back has Sonic and Knuckles, the inside has Sonic and Tails on one side and Robotnik and Knuckles on the other. Absolutely worth it. Great movie as well. Vastly superior to the original. Can't wait to see what they do with Shadow for the third movie and I hope Jim Carrey comes back one more time in the fat suit before he retires from acting.

Great movie and tons of fun for kids, though they didn’t get knuckles origin story correct they did a great job plot wise. except, for the solid hour of off-topic wedding sub plot, which nobody cared about. The wedding sub-plot had nothing to do with the movie and had nothing to add to it. Also, the Jim Carey rap and dance-off could have also been removed. I just wish it was more sonic and tails vs. robotnik and knuckles. More action and story, and less filler, as well as the removal of characters nobody cares about (Rachel’s sister and daughter). Had they done that, I think the movie would have been much more enjoyable. Overall an enjoyable movie. I would give it a 7/10

A great family film great extras and a great steelbook

Loved the first Sonic, and this one is great too. The cast is back and better than ever. This is a fan film done right. No agenda, no politics (sorta). A great family film for kids and adults. It also has a good message, that you don’t get in most films these days. The importance of family and friends. If I had anything negative it would be the length. Should be around an hour and a half for a family film. Love the steelbook, great purchase.

It is an awesome film sequel to the hit original film that came out a few years ago. My son and I love sonic so the film was pretty much a must buy. We have already seen it a ton of times and it is one of his go to favorites along with the Jurassic park films. The 4k steelbook is wonderful for collectors like myself and is a throwback to the genesis game cover from the 80’s. We cannot wait for the 3rd film!

I like the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 4K SteelBook alot because the design reminded me of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Video Game and also, the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Movie reminded me of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Video Game. I'm a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog. The 4K SteelBook, was a must have. If you are a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog classic video games and you like the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Movie, you should get this.

Besides being better than it's predecessor (and I did enjoy the first Sonic movie), Sonic The Hedgehog 2's Steelbook is one of my favorites that I've collected. Just like the game itself, Sonic The Hedgehog 2 game improved much from the first game, and I love how the Steelbook reflects that, paying homage to it. If you are a Sonic fan, and enjoyed the second movie, you have to add the steelbook to your collection.

This was a nice edition, the steel book looks great and was well worth the extra cost in my opinion. In terms of the movie itself this was a fun sequel, I like how it seemed like they weren't just rehashing the original and made it its own story that takes part after that could stand on. Also, I enjoyed all the Easter eggs, and there are quite a lot of them, references to old games and comics.

If you grew up loving sonc 1 - 3&K on the genesis and the sonic adventure games and have been sad that the characters have all basically been ruined since, this movie will brighten your day. The way they did all the characters justice, especially knuckles was not only cool it was rather heartwarming as well. This is one of my fav movies of all time,

This is a great family movie with some very nice references to the old 16-bit games. Jim Carrey has done a terrific job as Robotnik, and all the supporting characters add a lot of charm to the movie. In fact, the movie unfolds like stages in a game with an entertaining boss battle at the end. We can't wait till Sonic 3 comes out.

This is a great looking steelbook for an awesome sequel to this SEGA series. The front & back art on this steelbook is great and I love that it comes with the clear, plastic main title sleeve for even better protection. I highly suggest picking this one up if you are a Sonic the Hedgehog fan or steelbook collector. 5 Stars!
