The Sonos app is the key to the function of this speaker, without the app functioning properly, it will not allow you to connect to bluetooth! I've spent the entire evening trying to make it sync so that the speaker works, I've watched countless Youtube fixes, I had read forums on trouble shooting the problem, tried them multiple times, NOTHING! It shouldn't be this difficult to use and operate a carry around speaker. I wanted this to work and I've seen the hype, but save your time, money, and aggravation, just don't buy this.

I picked up this Sonos Move 2 portable speaker at Best Buy in Novi. The setup is incredibly easy and takes less than a minute if you have other Sonos speakers. The sound is amazing for a portable speaker! It fills up the space a lot more than the first generation Move. The battery life is much longer as well. I can pair it in stereo or use it with the rest of my setup or use it by itself. Any way I use it the Move 2 sounds great. I highly recommend it whether you have Sonos already of if you just want to have a great portable or stationary listening experience. I typically use this speaker in my kitchen/dining area until I go out on my deck or patio. I love the solid feel and the high quality sound. It doesn't sound like a typical portable speaker and it shouldn't at it's price point but it's worth it. The first gen Move is fine but the battery life is a little short. The Move 2 adds another speaker and just sounds a lot bigger and defined.

The sound is ridiculously good — deep, powerful bass, crystal-clear mids and highs, and it gets LOUD without any distortion at all. It fills my entire living room (and even the backyard when I take it outside) with rich, balanced audio that sounds way more expensive than it actually is. Connectivity is another huge win. Bluetooth pairs instantly, and the range is incredible — I can leave my phone in the kitchen and walk all the way to the other end of the house or out to the patio and it never cuts out or stutters. I’ve also connected it to two phones and a tablet at once with multipoint and switching between them is seamless. If you’re on the fence, just get it. I’m already planning to buy a second one for stereo pairing. Absolutely love this speaker!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but after a few months with the Sonos Move 2, I felt like it deserved one. First off, this thing sounds amazing. I’m no sound expert, but I know when music sounds good—and this speaker really delivers. The bass is deep, the vocals are clear, and it fills up my living room or backyard without needing to crank it all the way up. Whether I’m listening to classic rock, jazz, or just playing something in the background while I work outside, it always sounds rich and full. What I really appreciate is the flexibility. It works on Wi-Fi when I’m home and switches to Bluetooth when I take it out back or to a friend’s place. The transition is seamless. Battery life is also impressive—I’ve easily gotten over 20 hours on a single charge, and the included charging base makes it super convenient to just drop it on and forget about plugging anything in. It’s a bit heavier than a typical Bluetooth speaker, but it feels solid and built to last. I’ve used it outside in Texas heat and a bit of rain with no problem at all. You can tell it was made to handle real-life use, not just sit on a shelf. If I had to nitpick, it’s a little pricey. But honestly, you get what you pay for. This isn’t just a speaker—it’s part of my home now. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

This speaker has crisp, warm, dynamic sound. I love the portability! It's a little heavier than I'd imagined for its size, if that is a concern for anyone. But it so easily linked to my other Sonos speakers and soundbar for seamless music inside and outside of my home. And it has a small footprint for its powerful sound. If it goes on sale again, I would gladly buy a second one. I purchased this to replace my Amazon Alexa that was a little bigger but didn't integrate with the Sonos speakers. But side by side, Sonos truly beats out the sound of the Alexa.

I simply cannot stop saying how great Sonos speaker products are! The Move 2 speaker continues the trend of amazing speakers, and fits the bill for outdoor, larger area coverage. I bought two Move 2s for our outdoor living space, along with Sonos's wall mounts. The two Move 2s easily cover our entire back yard area with incredible sound: crisp highs, tight bass, and punchy mids. As with all Sonos products, they're super easy to set up using the Sonos app, and you can stereo link two Move 2s for a fantastic soundspace. These are light enough for my wife to carry and set on the mounts and the included charging rings provide a nice spot to store them. You can also link all of your Sonos products together throughout the house, so if you want the same banger rocking everywhere, it's super easy! Fantastic speakers; well worth the price.

This speaker sounds great and with the charging base, it makes it easy to bring it outside and listen to music all day. The sound quality is great and with plenty of bass, it sounds like a bigger speaker than it is.

I really like this portable speaker. Has great sound, and blends in with our decor. This item was hard to setup-due to the factory settings—no lights or sound - and poor directions—we called customer service and they helped to reset the device - worked fine after that.

We replaced our original Sonos Play 5 (Gen 1) with this move a few months ago. It was infrequently used, but now that we have the ability to use it with Bluetooth and on battery - we bring it everywhere with us! I had a wedding a few months ago and we brought this for when the groomsman were getting ready - and it worked great. Lots of sound and bass from such a small profile device. I love it!

A pair of the Sonos Move 2 Portables was purchased as a stereo pair. They surprised me as being superior to two KEF bookshelf dedicated speakers in my office. The bass was particularly robust and well-defined despite their small size and the clarity and definition of the higher frequencies was well-matched to the bass. This was an outstanding purchase and worth the higher cost.

The sound quality of the Move 2 is unreal, compared to other small Wifi/Bluetooth portable speakers. I found it easy to connect to my home wifi and spotify account. It's also pretty easy to carry and move. Not too heavy. The wall mount i bought is also great. I installed it on a tree outside so I can easily hang the speaker and have music outdoors.

Fantastic product. Sounds amazing and is able to move between areas incredibly easily. It is a bit bigger than I initially anticipated, but that size enables the low end sound to be considerably better than smaller speakers. Would absolutely recommend.

Great volume, great battery, and great sound. The white scuffed on my table, but I was able to slowly rub it out with a wet cloth. I would have maybe considered black knowing the scuffability. I love the charging port and the ease of use.
