Customers admire the Move 2 Portable Durable Smart Speaker for its great sound quality and convenient portability. Many appreciate its good battery life and multiple connectivity options like Wifi and Bluetooth. While some find the speaker a bit large and heavy, the primary concern appears to be its price. However, the design, ease of setup, supreme bass, and loud maximum volume are also well-received features.

I’ve had the Sonos Move for a few weeks now and I’m seriously impressed. The sound quality is top-tier—deep bass, clear vocals, and it fills any room (or backyard) with ease. I love that it works seamlessly with my existing Sonos system at home, but also functions as a Bluetooth speaker when I’m on the go. The battery life is solid, and the build feels super sturdy—like it’s actually made to be carried around. It’s weather-resistant too, so I’m not stressing if I leave it on the patio. Pricey? Sure. But 100% worth it if you care about sound and flexibility.

I have been deep in the Apple ecosystem for a decade. I bought an OG HomePod when it was first released and have enjoyed it (I have 2 HomePod Minis as well). I have heard good things about Sonos speakers and decided to pick up this speaker as I wanted a speaker I could move out to the patio from time to time. This speaker blows the HomePods out of the water sound quality wise and is portable with a 24 hour battery life. You can also charge phones off the Move 2’s battery via the USB-C port on the back. You won’t regret purchasing this awesome portable speaker.

Very good sound quality and good bass and easily portable! Bought on sale so great price!Better than my JBLs. I have had JBL portable speakers for several years (including Flip, Charge, and Xtreme). Those have always had good sound quality and more bass (which I like). This Sonos is better in overall sound quality and still very good bass. And easily portable around home. We still take the JBLs when we travel, but Sonos is the home speaker of choice now. I am not an audiophile, just a music lover of all genres.

This speaker replaced our previous Sonos 5 speaker whose cord broke at the base of the unit and fried the speaker. We like not having to plug this one in! It has similar great sound, awesome portability, and strong battery life. Built-in carry-handle on the back side is a nice feature. No issues with wifi or bluetooth connections. While Sonos is proud of their speakers with pricing, it is turning out to be a good investment.

This speaker lives in our kitchen, but we love to take it outside on nice days. The charging dock makes that super easy, and the battery lasts longer than we’ve ever needed. It’s way better than the basic Bluetooth speaker we had before. The sound is amazing! We mostly use the AirPlay 2 feature instead of Bluetooth.

Coming from a Move 1, this one feels much more bass punchier with better clear vocals and mids. The truetone feature sometimes reduces the volume level output based on room size or speaker placement, but it still sounds great nonetheless. The product came with an usb-c charger dock but no carry bag unlike my Move 1. Guess Sonos is cutting corners even for a speaker at this price. Battery life says 24 hours but I haven’t been able to fully drain it out as this thing never seems to die. Had a christmas party running for 8 hours, and this speaker was playing music non-stop with 60% battery left at end.
Only issue is Sonos didn’t add a backward stereo compatibility with Move 1.

We have a full Sonos house of speakers, but this was added to a Roam2. It is the Bees Knees! Great base and battery for our needs. It looks fine in most rooms aesthetically. Simple set up. It really crushes the Roam2 but it was $350 versus $150, so you get more, and it delivers.

Love the Sonos system and this is right up there with the Arc. Obviously the size and portability make this speaker ideal for different situations than a TV soundbar and they both do what they do very well. Love the durability (yes, I dropped mine and it still works great) and the sounds is simply amazing.

Works amazing, has so much battery life and is quite loud outdoors. I connect it to my inside Sonos speakers when I’m having a party and it does the job outside. I even take it on trips

Incredibly wide sound stage, very deep and resonating bass, super long battery life, great intrument seperation, and a fully adjustable EQ. Perfect for bluetooth on the go, or hogh quality streaming over wifi. I highly reccomend.

Worth the trouble of getting it set up. The sound is absolutely amazing. I recently bought another big-name brand portable Max speakers but these are better. They provide all the base and presence that I want. They also adjust acoustically to whatever environment they are placed. I bought two for true stereo sound (did the same thing on the Max speakers) Use them inside, take them outside. Amazing everywhere.
There is a process for getting them setup so I recommend contacting live customer support if you believe your speaker is damaged. You will be walked through the fairly simple process of getting things reset.
All in all, I highly recommend.

Battery life is great, love the modern green color. It's a nice change from the only Black/White options of every other sonos product. Sound quality is excellent. Even on the beach at full volume it's strong sound and doesn't distort. Can easily hear over the ocean waves while up and playing games etc. I did buy a second charger to take with me so I don't have to unplug the one it came with each time.

I was on the fence about purchasing the Move 2 vs the Era 300, but I can’t sit still and love to have music with me at all times, the move 2 is so convenient to move from room to room and the sound quality and battery life are undefeated.

I was very skeptical about the Move line of speakers from Sonos…until I bought one and tried it for myself. I completely get why people rave about this speaker. The sound quality is great, especially the bass, and I think overall it’s much better than the One and Play:1 speakers. And then, being able to pick it up and take it to the porch or backyard has been a total game changer. Can’t recommend this product enough!

If you're in the market for a single portable speaker that ticks almost every box, the Sonos Move 2 should be at the top of your list. Granted, it comes with almost a premium price tag, but the sound quality it delivers is worth every penny.
Despite its compact size, the Move 2 packs a punch, delivering loud, clear sound that's impressively neutral across the board. This versatility means it's a fantastic choice for enjoying a wide variety of music genres. The bass is punchy and impactful, yet it's balanced enough not to drown out the mids and highs. What sets it apart is its inherent ability to deliver true stereo sound on its own, a rarity in portable speakers of this size, providing a rich, immersive audio experience. When you pair it with another Sonos Move 2, the sound stage becomes even more expansive and louder, though it's already impressively spacious as a standalone unit.
While it may not be the loudest portable speaker compared to giants like the JBL Boombox and beyond, it effortlessly fills any room or outdoor space with high-quality sound. What's more, louder options often compromise on sound neutrality or introduce distortion at high volumes – issues you won't find with the Move 2. It strikes the perfect balance, making it a standout choice in the mid to high-end portable speaker market.
Additionally, the Move 2's support for both Airplay 2 and Bluetooth significantly boosts its versatility, allowing you to stream your favorite tunes no matter your device or ecosystem preference.
The only minor quibble is its weight. It's not overly heavy, but you'll notice it. Oh and no Google Assistant in it. Nonetheless, for the audio quality, stereo capability, and connectivity options it offers, a little extra weight is a small price to pay.
