Excellent speaker. Quality is worth the price tag. Plenty of volume and nice full sound with much more bass than the Play 1, Play 3, or One. Looking forward to adding more Sonos speakers in the future. Highly recommend.

I purchased a single Sonos Play 5 speaker and days later purchased a second to set up in stereo. The first speaker setup was incredibly easy however I did have to contact Sonos to get the stereo functionality to work with the second speaker. They were very helpful and completed the second setup for me remotely. Pleased with the sound quality.

Room filling - far outclasses Bose units (tried them both). Good firm bass - crystal clear. They are expensive, but beats the alternative (Bose anything or the Sonus model 3. I'd say bite the bullet and go for the 5.

I wanted a system to play my portable satellite player in my home. I originally sought out a Bose speaker, but after speaking with a Best Buy employee and checking Consumer Reports, I decided to try the Sonos speaker. I am so glad I did! The sound quality was so amazing I decided to have the sound system throughout my entire house. Buy it you won't regret it.

A NICE DESIGN, GOOD SOUND AND NO WIRES, EXCEPT ELECTRICAL

I’ve owned many high end speakers. I’m not a professional by any means, but I know quality sound. We know what we like as individuals. I actually stumbled on this speaker. I had a Sonos system in my home and ran it thru my in ceiling speakers. This past summer I added an outdoor living area. I originally purchased the Sonos beam for my outdoor TV Although this met my needs for the tv my audio sound for music was lacking. I just love the “ tune in “ radio choices. I can haul this heavy speaker from my patio to my garage when working on wood projects. Really sets the mood. Again I just love the rich sound this speaker produces. Great job Sonos.

Best speaker I have ever had. I am a sound snob. This is the best! Extra speakers an be linked on wifi to other rooms no wires needed. I turn it up 50 percent and can here in whole 2 story house and outside. It is completely worth it
