The Sonos playbar is by far the best sound I have heard coming from a TV. You can actually hear the words clearly even at low volume. This is really how TV should sound all the time, like actual people talking. No muffled sound and deep rich sound effects too. The system is so simple to set up and comes on automatically with the TV so no need to reach for multiple controls. Awesome product. Don't let the price fool you, you get what you pay for and this product is toward the top end of sound bars. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely love Sonos. Paired a playbar, sub and two play 3's effortlessly. Took about 20 minutes. The Sonos app walked me through the steps very nicely. Tv surround sound is amazing. Been listening to more music then ever before, linked my pandora acount to the app, been jamming out since. Loved the system so much we got another soundbar a few days later for the television upstairs. Again used the Sonos app and easily added the additional playbar to the television upstairs. As well as being able to play music on all the speakers. Highly recommend Sonos. No wires everywhere, super sleek.

After considering for a long time, I decided to purchase a Sonos system for my living room. I bought the Playbar, the Sonos Sub, and the Sonos Amp to power two already installed surround speakers. I actually went from a full 5.1 component system to the Sonos system. First, for those who are wondering, this system is no substitute for a separate surround system. The system I had before sounded better. But, for a soundbar based system, it comes pretty close to it. It sounds really good. My wife loves not having all the speakers and wires from the previous system. I love the sound and the reliability of the Sonos wireless system. I purchased my Sonos system (quite expensive) on 11/20/19 at full retail price. Three days later I get an email from Best Buy inviting me to Black Friday prices which showed massive discounts to each of the Sonos components I bought. There was a big difference in price. I called to get the price match guarantee, and even spoke with a manager at the local BB. No price match for Black Friday deals. Probably got ten emails that week rubbing the lower price in my face. Bad form Best Buy. If you lower a price three days after purchase, you should honor the price match.

Absolutely love the play bar. Setup is a breeze and adding speakers is simple. I used to have a bluetooth speaker to listen to music during dinner or while surfing the web and it was a pain. Now I just open the Sonos app and have access to my music library and music services in seconds! The sound is incredible for music and movies. It really brings blueray discs to life and surprisingly puts out an ample amount of bass. Trying to decide if I need the sub or not. Could not be happier with the product.

I had two goals in mind when replacing my home theater system, which included an Onkyo receiver and 5.1 surround Klipsch speaker system. I wanted to eliminate wires, and be able to hear voices better without turning up the volume when watching TV programs and movies. I replaced my wired system with the Sonos Playbar, two Play 3 speakers, and Sonos Sub. This system met my needs perfectly. The wireless system is extremely easy to set up and works and sounds terrific. The control settings provide an option to enhance voices, which works really well. I no longer need to turn up the volume to hear voices and then suffer excessive volume when the action starts. I was never able to adequately calibrate my other system to achieve this. The Sonos system integrates all the components very well. I am impressed with the volume it can produce without distortion. The Sonos system has much more to offer than what I am covering in this review. I recommend checking out what Sonos has to offer.

I was skeptical of how well a wireless speaker system could keep all location sync'd properly throughout my home. I had heard great things of the sound quality but still didn't want to be bothered with connectivity issues every time I wanted to listen to music. I couldn't have been more surprised. The sound quality is as good as I had heard and I have never had issues with syncing or connectivity. The Sonos app is so easy to use and I love the Que feature. Add a song to the queue, play now, play next... couldn't be more easy or fun to listen to high quality sound and build the perfect playlist.

My husband and I have been acquiring Sonos pieces for the past 2 years. This time we decided to purchase the sonos bar and subwoofer to complete our living room entertainment system. We now have 2 Play 1's, a subwoofer, a sonos bar, and a play 3. The sound is amazing! Also, the set up is easy!

If you are ready to plunk down around $2K, want no wires anywhere, and listen to most of your music either from your devices or online, then Sonos Home Theatre setup is for you. The first piece of this setup would be this sound bar. I have waited for about 6 months before writing this review. It's sound quality is amazing, and gets even better when paired with a Sonos subwoofer. Additional option for better spoken dialog clarity and night sounds helps it a lot, especially for the evening/late night viewing. Most settings can be controlled with app on smart phone / tablet.

I walked into Best Buy planing on buying a $100 bluetooth speaker for music around the apartment, and walked out with this instead. Setup was an absolute breeze (their app walks you through the entire process), and it syncs with my iTunes library and phone with no issues whatsoever. For a soundbar, I'm really impressed; audio fidelity is great, and I work with audio for a living. Even without Sonos' bass speaker, I think the low end is crisp and superior to other soundbars. Bottom line, if you can afford it, you'll be very pleased with this guy.

I just moved into a new house and that did not have wall or ceiling speakers wired (or pre-cut). I decided I definitely did not want to put a system together with wire running allover the place so I took a leap of faith on Sonos Playbar, Sub, Boost, and 2 Play1's. The sound is fantastic, and the sub has great bass. The boost puts the system on it's own network so I haven't had any issues with Netflix etc. The best thing is how clean and orderly my living room looks now. It was a bit pricey, but think it was worth it.

PROs: Easy Installation; Excellent Construction; Good Sound Quality. CONS: Price; Form Factor; No Outdoor Product. I purchased the playbar and sub to enhance my home wireless system. In addition to these items, I have a couple of Play 1's -- 1 in the kitchen and the second in a guest bedroom. It was easy to add the new speakers to the existing Sonos products. All the speakers deliver good sound in the rooms where they are installed. The Playbar made a "HUGE" difference in the listenability of the HDTV installed in my master bedroom. If you can't afford it, or don't what to deal with installing it, this system is OK for an inexpensive 5.1 surround system, as mentioned in numerous other reviews and touted by the manufacturer. I highly recommend the Playbar with sub to replace the speakers in any HDTV. No if Sonos could just add an outdoor speaker(s) to their lineup, they'd have a robust product series.

I already have a Sonos system in my home (Play 1 + bridge) and purchased the Playbar to get the same quality sound experience from my TV. I am absolutely satisfied with the speaker. The sound is awesome and it was easy to add to my existing system. Set up took less than 20 minutes from opening the box to hearing the new speaker in action. My favorite part is that I don't need another remote control for sound! No matter what's on my TV the sound comes out through the speaker and I can control the volume with my TV remote.

Great ease of setup, the app is easy to use and the sound quality is amazing, especially for a wireless speaker. Being able to add speakers to the system and the flexibility on how those speakers are connected made this purchase a no-brainer over other wireless speaker systems! I can't wait to add additional speakers!

I had nothing but BOSE systems since the late 80s. The company's quality hasn't diminished....it's just been left in the dust with Sonos. Easy to setup, virtually no wires to connect it to your TV and extremely easy to setup from a smart phone. My wife loves streaming her music to it from her Iphone. Only negative...of course....the price. But just bite the bullet. Eventually you forget about it.

As an HDTV installer & integrator, we always reccomend some additional audio products for anyone purchasing or installing any TV. Whenever the situation calls for it, this SONOS Playbar is the first soundbar we reccomend. We love all SONOS products, their entire line up is excellent. It sounds great, is super easy to set up, and always impresses anyone who hears it. The versatillity this Playbar adds to any SONOS system is beyond comparison...it sounds great alone as a TV (simulated) surround system, and can be easily attached "wirelessly" to a SONOS Sub and 2 rear speakers to create even better sound. The SONOS app interface and it's very complete wide range of audio options like Pandora, Spreaker, iHeart Radio, and many more internet audio options are constantly being updated. You'd be hard pressed to find an internet audio source that isn't compatible with SONOS, and if you do, and send them a note, they will find a way to add it to their already excellent list of compatible audio sources. And....it is a great building block for a whole house "wireless" audio system. In our opinion, the best and most versatile audio option available in this price range...

Sonos soundbars and Play1 speakers are putting music in the apartment living room, kitchen and bedrooms. I didjn't need the subwoofer in my 1100sf space. Bass is respectable already and I'm a little picky.. Clean modern look. Love that the white speakers are small, robust and blend with my walls. Instantaneous set-up. Easy! Lots of fun setting alarms to whatever awesome music I can find online; playing different music in different spaces; instantly changing mood and music with Spotify, Pandora and more. Tv/movies are much more fun too now. My 50" TV with poor sound now sounds GREAT since I routed my OTA DVR and ROKU and DVD Player sound (via a 3-way toslink digital optical audio switch) to the soundbar -- BYPASSING the poor sound capacity of the TV. It instantly sounds like I bought an expensive TV instead of getting one for Free! I use my iphone to play with all the Sonos features; the app to make your phone a remote control is great. I also found it easy and convenient to program two TV/hardware remotes to also act as Sonos remote. I liked Sonos so much I bought a second soundbar and more Play1 speakers!

this is a great soundbar. I have only had it for a week but i must say this is the best soundbar. I bought the Heos soundbar prior to this but returned it for the sonos. yes sonos is a bit expensive but I dont want to run any wires for a true 5.1 sound. next purchase is the sonso sub...like i said its a great system but a bit expensive. 5 stars...i knew what i was getting into financially.

The Sonos System is amazing. Set up out of the box took less than 10 minutes. Plug the Playbar into your router and it walks you through the rest of the process. I bought this as well as the sub and 2 play 1s. I wasn't sure that I wanted to spend the extra money on the sub but Im glad I did. As a whole it sounds great. I'll be expanding the system into the rest of the house soon enough.

The Sonos playbar is awesome! We hesitated buying the Sonos system because of the price but they had the set up that we wanted for our open floor plan -- wireless rear speakers that I can use to hear the TV in the kitchen without blaring the TV volume from the family room. We also wanted clarity in the sound. We had tried others and it still sounded muffled. The Sonos playbar has such clarity and such quality sound. We use it with our TV and for music without the TV on. The music even sounds amazing and I am not a huge music or sound system geek at all. It uses an app on your phone or computer/tablet. The set up went very smoothly and we are delighted with this system! I would highly recommend this system if you are looking at it.
