Upgraded my Audio Streamer from an Arylic S50 Pro+ to the Sonos Port, connectivity and reliability is a massive improvement, sound quality increased trmendously, and ease of use is untouchable, great purchase.

Excellent product that really produces great sound quality and integrates with all your Sonos speakers. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their Sonos system

This is one of those awkward products that is hard to rate. If price is ignored, it works great. It allows me to use my very nice primary audio system in a whole-home audio setup using other Sonos devices. Easy to use with the standard array of Sonos audio sources.
But the price is really exorbitant for what it does. It clearly seems priced as a way to dissuade people from using their own speakers and encouraging them to use official Sonos speakers. Or, perhaps Sonos recognizes that people who have sunk thousands into nice speaker systems will spend the premium to be able to use those setups.
Thank you for your feedback about the Sonos Port! We designed this product to add value to the Sonos system by adding your existing equipment to the multiroom system that is Sonos. The Port also will continue to receive updates that add functionality to the Sonos system which then means that it makes the connected equipment that much more useful!

We actually use this in our church. We have this connected to our sanctuary sound equipment and use it to broadcast over the network to wireless Sonos One speakers in the hallway and nursery. Works and sounds great to us.

Once I got the bugs worked out (Sonos app update was awful), I got this connected to my existing Sonos system and to my stereo receiver. Can play all my music apps through the whole house!
Wish the price was a little better for what it is.

Now that I've lived with the Sonos Port for a few months, I can tell you that it lives up to its reputation. It's compatible with everything, it's very easy to use, and the app is extremely reliable. My only suggestion is to have a professional handle the setup. Yes, you can do it yourself but...this really isn't a DIY product.

I have a Victrola Sonos Turntable that connected to network half the time or wouldn’t at all. Very frustrating for $800 dollars. Luckily did my research and since the turntable had a preamp in it I could use the port to connect to my Sonos network.
Works like a charm. So nice to instantly connect to network when I want to listen to a record.

The media player is a great item to attach with our in ceiling speakers. It allowed us the ability to use this device and attach our current speakers to. We were also able to add SONOS speakers to rooms that didn't have ceiling speakers for a whole home sound system. Sound quality is amazing and I can select where I want the sound to come from. The price point is little steep but well worth the cost.

A bit on the expensive side, but being a Sonos product it just works which is the whole point. Setup is a breeze, sound quality obviously depends on what you'll be connecting. So far I've had no issues and have a whole home Sonos setup (using the port with outdoor speakers).

Having never used any sonos product I was skeptical how this could be worth the price but it seemed to be the best offering for a streamer input for a whole house audio system, turns out its pretty awesome, we can link my wife's apple music, my YouTube premium, our xm vehicle subscriptions and much more and push it all through the house from one app.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do!! This is paired with my outdoor 55” Samsung Tv. Everything is working perfectly and I got it on sale. The geek squad from Best Buy made sure I knew how everything worked before they left.

love love love this device - I have it powering my Sonance speaker set around my backyard and pool and the ease of use and functionality is superb. I am able to wirelessly connect my go-to music sources through my iPhone from anywhere in or just outside my house. The quality is EXCELLENT and the craftsmanship TOP NOTCH. Well done Sonos and Sonance. All installed by Geek Squad which I also recommend.

I bought this in order to incorporate my turntable into my living room surround because I have sonos throughout my house except my living room where I have a traditional surround sound av receiver. Since my receiver ran out of RCA ports and doesn't have a phono input, I was finally able to connect my turntable into my port which connected to my receiver and now my living room surround is now sonos incorporated and I can play my records on my turntable and group all my other sonos zones in my house so my records can play in every room of my house, all because of this sonos port! You should definitely get a phono preamp though if you're connecting a turntable into it though because the port inputs aren't amplified like a phono input. Amazing purchase and couldn't be happier!

I had initially wanted a home theater receiver with Sonos compatibility but the simplicity and slightly additional power makes this a better option. I have one channel driving 4 outdoor rock speakers (8” drivers 8 Ohms) wired up in a parallel series. Total resistance on my speakers is roughly 9.2 ohms with a very long cable run. The other channel of the amp is reserved for 4 additional speakers under my patio awning.
Most home theater receivers run between 80-100 watts per channel unless you are spending a few grand. Having the Sonos amp gives me more volume than I would have gotten with a standard receiver. Plus the setup is a breeze - especially since the Sonos network was already setup.

The Sonos "Port" works as it should. You simply connect your device by way of the RCA jacks and follow the set-up directions on your phone. We are using this on a commercial jukebox in a "Bar and Grill" environment. The sound quality from the jukebox was less than satisfactory and when playing through the Sonos system, it sounds fantastic. My customers have really noticed the difference and jukebox revenue has gone up. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is at times, The Port is "slow" to stop the existing music that is playing through IHeart Radio or Sirius XM. It's supposed to do that as soon as it detects the juke box has been played. Consequently we have 2 different songs playing at the same time, but only for a few seconds. The other problem we encountered is lag time. The jukebox still sends the sound signal to it's own speakers in addition to the Sonos system. At times, there is a bit of lag time creating an annoying "echo." Sometimes it will sync up and sometimes it won't. Maybe if Sonos Tech Support sees this, they can give me some hints. By the way, Sonos Tech Support is amazing on previous problems I've encountered with my 3 total systems I have. Been on vacation the last couple of weeks, so haven't had time to present this problem to them!!
