The best addition to any home theater or home audio system- Sonos ecosystem remains superior and unparalleled to any other brand I’ve experimented with. This subwoofer will bring great audio range that you could only experience in a high end movie theater or car, with the power to shake my bed if I raised the subwoofer power a few notches, the range on this product is unparalleled.

Moving company broke my Bose soundbar so I moved to sonos. Always had connection issues with Bose and was extremely disappointed with it. After setting up the Sonos which was super easy, it immediately fired up and sounded better and i havent had connection issues at all. Excellent product!

I have been waiting for many years to get in to the Sonos family of products. I recently and very excitedly purchased the Arc (non ultra) and this Sub 4 from Best Buy and the combo is great - but I’m genuinely surprised that no other review has mentioned that the Arc already has so much bass on its own that the Sub 4 doesn’t do much until you’ve got the settings to +3 or more. If you love overpowered bass - and many people do - this sub can deliver that.. but I like strong and smooth bass, not just over-the-top loud. In fact, when listening to music I can usually turn the sub off and have it be more enjoyable, as the Arc on its own produces such excellently balanced sound - including the low frequencies - without the subwoofer. If I were doing the sequence of purchasing again for my Sonos buildout knowing and having experienced all of this now - I would still want the sub 4, but I wouldn’t have prioritized it over getting surround speakers, like the Era 100 or Era 300 speakers. I would have got the Sub last. Now, in movies does it make a difference? Yes - especially in action sequences with explosions. But… the ARC really isn’t slacking. You’ll still have a fantastic action movie experience without the sub. I do mean really great.. there’s nothing marginal about the Arc performance on its own. In short, though the Sub Gen 4 is a great, seamless product that is a cherry on a cake type of addition, the Arc is already so good that if I were needing to add more bass I’d just start with surrounds first. I love the sleek design. Although its placement in the room is behind some furniture. I like that its tucked away and fits nicely where we placed. The Sonos app makes control and tweaks easy to do.

This was one of the best purchases to go along with the Sonos Ultra Arc and the 2 Era 300s for a surreal spatial experience when watching movies and listening to music. I also like deep resonance and I can adjust the EQ and other sliders with the easy to use App.

This subwoofer was super easy to setup and with our smaller room it is very effective at giving a great base sound. You can tell the quality because it is not obnoxious like some of our other lower priced systems in the past.

I have switched over to Sonos for all my equipment. The sub woofer is the single best component I have. It makes a huge difference and I have BIG sound all over the house

This replaced a gen 3 sub. New non-glossy finish is really nice and now matches the Arc Ultra and ERA 300s. The connectivity issues I had with the previous gen 3 sub and WiFi 7 are gone.

I have had the Sonos beam for a few months and was really happy with that, but then I explored the idea of getting a subwoofer because I've heard that subwoofers really help in creating a better atmosphere for watching movies and of course provide punchy bass when listening to music. I don't have a large area so that's why I went with this sub mini and I got to say it's definitely worth adding to a home theater system. The Sonos beam already in itself had good base to where a subwoofer isn't needed but a subwoofer definitely elevates the immersiveness and overall enjoyment from watching movies. Depending on how much base you want and what your preferences are, you can adjust how loud it is and the way I have mine adjusted is perfect because it's not overbearing or too loud. But also when it's needed you can definitely feel it. And it's very accurate to where it doesn't. Just sound like you put a subwoofer in your living room. It genuinely creates an amazing sense of immersiveness to where and some movies I have to question whether it's the subwoofer going or if there's a thunderstorm. Overall, this is an amazing addition to a Sono soundbar

The new Sonos Sub 4 is simply amazing! It delivers deep, powerful bass that transforms your movie experience. Paired with my Sonos system, it adds incredible depth to music and movies. A must-have upgrade for any Sonos setup!

I have a Sonos system on the lanai and added this little gem. I was trying to decide between upgrading some speakers, or adding a sub. I couldn’t believe the difference it makes! I paired with a Beam soundbar and Play1’s (Arc and full sized sub indoors on the TV) and it made a HUGE difference in depth and quality of the music. Love it, wish I’d have added it before! If you’re on the fence between adding a sub, or upgrading speakers, I’d recommend the sub. Sonos has done a lot to make adding speakers much easier. I’ve had a Sonos system from the time they originally came on the market. Setup before was difficult and speakers had to be paired after power outages, software upgrades, etc. This literally was a case of plugging it in, letting it initialize, and then adding it to my system in the App.

Great added bass to existing surround sound. This speaker really adds that extra added bass for that theater like experience.

Very loud for a small to mid size living room. I had bought an open I wish it would inform you that you have reset it to connect it to a different system. Had few issues connecting it but work great.

Really compliments my Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar. Adds noticeable amount of bass and feels like a movie theater experience

Yes, these are expensive speakers.. but coming from the Apple/Homepod ‘ecosystem’ I didn’t have a ton to choose from (and of course used to paying premium). Airplay was a requirement. After living in an apartment environment for 16+ years, finally buying a house and able to crank some music, I feel like a kid again. The deep rumbles rattle my house and i don’t know how I enjoyed music over the last couple decades. So worth it
