Im so happy with the sound quality. Truly a great sub woofer. The bass is so crisp and it just makes the movie experience so much enjoyable. Very powerful with the ultra arc sonos speaker. Together they make such an amazing duo. Recommend them together to really enjoy the sonos power and quality.

10/10 would most definitely recommend. We’ve had the arc and era 100’s for months and they sound amazing. Adding the sub4 was seamless and brought our music, movies, and gaming to a whole new dimension!

Love the sound quality on this. I went from one gen 2 sub to 2 gen 4 subs (you can’t pair a gen 1 or gen 2 with a gen 3 or gen 4 for dual subs.) these things sound great and help fill out the room. Definitely only need one, cause 2 is overkill for most situations.

The Short- if you’re wondering if it’s gonna be enough, trust me it is it’s amazing and I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase. The Long- I live in a apartment and dont have a big living room by any means. Its about a 16x18 room and i had just recently bought the beam which was very nice sounding. But the next day i got an email saying the arc was on sale for $600 which wasnt told to me when purchasing the bean. So I immediately returned the beam for the arc. I wanted something that worked great by itself. And although the beam does its more like amplifying your tv speakers, not bad but not great. I fell in love with the arc immediately its the only stand alone soundbar that checked all the boxes. But as always i end up wondering what im missing out on lol. So i started researching if im really missing out on alot or if people in apartments thought adding a sub was too much and would bother neighbors. Thats when i found out that adding a sub would really let the Arc sing. Because adding a sub lets the sound bar focus more on mids and highs. But also most people said that the sonos sub was too much. And i was finding mixed results on wether the sub mini was enough. But i came across a really good video of a well respected audio YouTuber it was a asian guy can’t remember his name. And he really broke it down with sound test and everything. I was convinced so I bought one. And it was a fantastic decision. It really opened up the Arc and made it come to life. And I was already happy with the way it sounded without a subwoofer. It’s not gonna shake the house like the normal sub does obviously. But it adds what you’re missing for instance gunshots and movies explosions things like that just sound so much better. And music boy does the music sounds so much better. It is really unbelievable how much they packed into the mini sub. I promise you won’t regret it. If you live in a large house, I would probably definitely go with the full size of. But if you’re working with a small medium, even medium to large living room, the sub mini works perfect I even have to find myself turning it down sometimes. Overall, I couldn’t be more satisfied. And I’m so glad I bought into the son of ecosystem. But be careful because once you upgrade to a Sonos system if you don’t have a top-of-the-line TV, you’re probably gonna be buying one next. Let’s just say it only took me about a month before I bought a brand new LG C5 65 inch TV to go with my sonos set up lol. I hope this helps any of you guys and if you’re thinking about it, definitely pulled the trigger.

The Sonos Sub Mini is the perfect addition to a smaller room or bedroom setup. I paired it with my Sonos Beam and two Era 100s, and it completely transformed the sound. The design is sleek and compact, and the packaging and setup were just as easy and premium as the rest of the Sonos lineup. Within minutes it was connected and tuned through the Sonos app. The bass is deep, clean, and punchy without being overpowering. It adds so much more depth to movies, TV, and music, making everything feel fuller and more immersive. If you’re on the fence about adding a subwoofer to a Beam or smaller Sonos system, don’t be — the Sub Mini is 100% worth it. It takes an already great system and makes it sound amazing.

Easy to setup and works well with the Sonos Arc soundbar. Very good sound quality. And I got it on sale.

Outstanding sound quality , the sub woofer was very easy to set up and control.

Moving company broke my Bose soundbar so I moved to sonos. Always had connection issues with Bose and was extremely disappointed with it. After setting up the Sonos which was super easy, it immediately fired up and sounded better and i havent had connection issues at all. Excellent product!

This thing paired with 4 Sonance 6.5" In-ceiling speakers fills my room perfectly. Honestly have sub4 setting at +1, so plenty more available if needed.

I have been waiting for many years to get in to the Sonos family of products. I recently and very excitedly purchased the Arc (non ultra) and this Sub 4 from Best Buy and the combo is great - but I’m genuinely surprised that no other review has mentioned that the Arc already has so much bass on its own that the Sub 4 doesn’t do much until you’ve got the settings to +3 or more. If you love overpowered bass - and many people do - this sub can deliver that.. but I like strong and smooth bass, not just over-the-top loud. In fact, when listening to music I can usually turn the sub off and have it be more enjoyable, as the Arc on its own produces such excellently balanced sound - including the low frequencies - without the subwoofer. If I were doing the sequence of purchasing again for my Sonos buildout knowing and having experienced all of this now - I would still want the sub 4, but I wouldn’t have prioritized it over getting surround speakers, like the Era 100 or Era 300 speakers. I would have got the Sub last. Now, in movies does it make a difference? Yes - especially in action sequences with explosions. But… the ARC really isn’t slacking. You’ll still have a fantastic action movie experience without the sub. I do mean really great.. there’s nothing marginal about the Arc performance on its own. In short, though the Sub Gen 4 is a great, seamless product that is a cherry on a cake type of addition, the Arc is already so good that if I were needing to add more bass I’d just start with surrounds first. What a boost to my overall living room audio. The base sound accompanies the arc ultra perfectly. This is going to make for some amazing game day and movie nights!

Great subwoofer! I got 2 for the front and back of the room but one is plenty of bass.

I love the sleek design. Although its placement in the room is behind some furniture. I like that its tucked away and fits nicely where we placed. The Sonos app makes control and tweaks easy to do.
