This sub looks and sounds amazing! Is it worth the price tag? I would say yes but wish it was less expensive. Bought it to round out the low end with my Arc.

Definitive you need add this bad boy to your sonos arc. It really improves the already awesome sound from the sound bar.

This subwoofer has dep, rich bass sound that fills any room. It also makes a nice furniture accessory to any modern room. I chose white as an accent and most guests don't even realize it's a speaker.

Great product. We absolutely love this thing. really easy to set up and has great sound. No vibration like a regular woofer. I have the arc, sub, and two of the ones. Would recommend.

It was time for me to upgrade my home speaker system. I started researching various brands. I had tested the SONOS set at a bestbuy store but wasn't feeling it (It probably wasn't tuned well) and moved on to researching other brands. I actually purchased 3 different brands (Enclave, Bose 700 soundbar and 700 subwoofer, and the Klipsch WiSA wireless speakers) and tested all 3 at home. I ended up settling with the Bose soundbar 700 and the 700 subwoofer. I kid you not, the Bose was very very solid. Then I visited a friend who had SONOS system all over his home (properly tuned), and the sound the sound was mind blowing. Incredibly reach and the subwoofer was the bomb. I got back home and purchased the SONOS Arc, the Gen 3 arc and surround speakers. Set it up and tuned the system appropriately and man, this thing is a beast!!! When the wife at home who knows nothing about sound systems, heard the SONOS, she herself packed the Bose 700 and told me to take it back to the store LOL. I tell you this folks, this is the best and the only sound system you will ever need!!! Believe me, I have tested others side-by-side, they are not match.

The Sub (Gen 3) in white looks fantastic—sleek and minimal—and the bass absolutely delivers: deep, tight, and room-filling without muddying the mids. When it’s locked in, the Sonos ecosystem shines. That said, the Sonos app is the weak link. Initial setup can be finicky, and every so often speakers disconnect between uses and are a headache to reconnect. If you’re patient with the app, the payoff is excellent low end and a great overall sound—just know there may be some app wrangling along the way.

The Sonos 3 sub adds a layer of depth to my Sonos system that was missing. It was easy to add to my Sonos system and pair with a Playbar and 2 OneSLs. The sub hits hard with music and rumbles the room in movies. I debated between the Sonos 3 Sub and the Sonos 4 Sub and i'm happy with the Sonos 3 Sub and it saved me $$ compared to the 4.

We have been waiting to get a home theater system for a while now and I’m glad I picked up this one. I’ve done lots of research and I like how the white color matches our decor. You won’t find too many white sound bars out there. The sound quality is top notch as I tested it with a variety of audio/video sources. The atmos is very convincing even though it uses a bounce off the wall technique. It really sounds like things are coming from above. The subwoofer is strong without being too base heavy that it distorts the sound. It adds a depth that we truly enjoy. Set up is wireless and easy to do.

I love my sub 3. I’ve spent maybe a total of 4 months reading online reviews (reddit, smarthome sounds, peterpee) and conducting stress tests between this one, the sub 4 and the sub mini. The sub mini is awesome for 90% of people, because its smaller and sealed, which makes its bass tones slightly more accurate when playing music. The sub 3 can be described as having a heavier hand when it comes to the same bass tones. Bass is around 2x louder, but not as refined as the sub mini when you turn it up. If you love bass. My use cases are in my living room for atmos content and in my home gym for workout music. Indoors or out, this mf is crazy. 10/10 would recommend. Ps. My only gripe is the cost

Probably the best thing about this is the design. Rather than a nondescript black box, this is a lovely design. It’s interesting enough that you don’t want to hide it. It can live out in the open unlike other subs. It thumps nicely, plenty for my needs on movies and hip hop.

White goes well with the trim of everything in my house as far as cxents are concerned. Simple and easy to pair with the arc or beam. Love it. Adds the much needed thump when watching movies or listening to music while cleaning.
