We bought a Sonos Soundbar for our Sony 850 TV and added the subwoofer as soon as we could afford it. It is a great sound system, easy to set up and can be added to when we want to add more speakers. My only complaint is that the BestBuy staff helping us did not know that we needed to purchase another element of the system, a boost, to make the subwoofer work. That meant an extra trip to the store. Once working, though, it is great.

Brings theater sound to home theater. Outstanding sound in fairly compact and attractive package.

When the description says bone shattering bass, they are not lying! I was thinking I may not need to subwoofer when I was purchasing some of my speakers, but the sales person at Best Buy said it really made a difference. So I purchased one for my basement and it made a HUGE difference. So much so I purchased one for the living room as well. Sonos sounds great in my home and I plan on putting them throughout.

This sub is nothing short of amazing. I love the fact that its wireless and the bass is incredible and strong. I'm living in an apartment complex so I have to keep it on the tame side, but once I move into a home, then I could be a little more generous with it. This subwoofer is awesome! I understand that it's $700 (I got it for $503 as an open box deal in Colorado), but the quality of sound is just astounding!

Purchased the Sonos Subwoofer to add/ pair to our Sonos play bar. What a difference! The sound quality is exceptional. If you have the play bar, do yourself a step up and purchase the subwoofer, you will not be disappointed. Would highly recommend to anyone who's looking to add a powerful boost to their entertainment system. Movies have taken on a heart pounding, edge of your seat effect in the comfort of home.

Bought this for my entertainment system in my family room. I have it hooked up along with the sonos soundbar and two play 3's. Sound is excellent and the bass really sounds great. A little pricey, but worth it for the ease of install and adaptability with other sonos components.

I love both the sound and the look of this subwoofer. I have had powered subwoofers for years, but never one with as crisp sound as the Sonos. With most you can feel the floor vibrating but not with the Sonos. It delivers a tight base that you can feel, without the floors shaking. Of course the wireless feature is fantastic as you can place it anywhere there is a power outlet. It was well worth the price!

We had sticker shock, and were hesitant to spend this much money on a sound system, but it's worth every last penny! We are not tech savvy, and were able to set it up in about 10 minutes. We downloaded the app on to our phones and are able to control everything from them. We can't wait to be able to afford more speakers so we can expand our home system. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

This subwoofer is so awesome. I bought it in conjunction with the sonos soundbar and it picks up even the quietest of noises. Movies woul dnot be the same without it. Even playing music i can feel the bass in the floor and hear it no matter what room i am in. Would def recommend, totally worth the buy.

The Sonos sub became a priority immediately after purchasing my playbar. The Playbar sounded great, but I felt I needed something more. I truly had no intentions of buying the sub until i listened to it in store and spoke to a salesperson about what it brings to the table. Setting it up was as simple as it can get, and the sub proved to be well worth the money when paired with the playbar, in my honest opinion. The combo fills the house with sound, and the sub seems to free up the playbar of the unnecessary load of trying to produce base. The sub sound level are easily adjusted to fit your needs, whether its for surround sound home entertainment, or for streaming music for body shaking base. The sub is a "must have" in combo with the playbar, not because the playbar is inadequate, but because it enhances the experience that much more. Unfortunately, now i have the itch for rear surround speakers, and im stuck deciding between two Play One's and two Play 3's. Decisions...

I have heard a ton of wireless home theater systems within the past 6 months and Sonos was absolutely it for me! This subwoofer is not only loud but it is very crisp. Watching movies like The Amazing Spiderman 2 was unbelievable! It blows away the Bose Lifestyle subwoofer and is much more crisp and smooth than the Sony 7.1 wireless soundbar with sub.

This is potentially the loudest bass I have ever heard, I wouldn't know though because I have neighbors above me and I couldn't even go over 20% volume. literally could be used for a venue as your only subwoofers. you can wirelessly control it from any device in your home that has wifi capability. you need a bridge to wirelessly connect to anything, you can buy the bridge by itself or the soundbar. plug the soundbar into your tv ($699.00) and anything connected to your tv (Game console, Cable Box, etc.) will be able to be heard, so I used ps4 for youtube songs to hear them. the only thing I haven't investigated is the bridge by itself, I am hoping it will be able to connect my laptop speakers so all sound produced from the laptop streams through my sonos speakers. right now it will only play music that is in my MUSIC folder in my computer. I cant wait to test how loud the sub is. thankyou.

I purchased the subwoofer along with a Sonos Playbar and Boost for use as a sound system for my HDTV. The sound is awesome, the base flows throughout the living room. I would highly recommend the entire Sonos lineup to any audiophile that doesn't like having to run wires all over the house. Best wireless audio there is.

Purchased this with a Sonos Entertainment system a month ago and can't be more pleased. The subwoofer has good sound and adds a lot. Setup was extremely easy and so far have had absolutely no issues with the unit,including the subwoofer.
