We purchased the New Play-5 SONOS Speaker and absolutely loved it earlier this year. Then we read a review about how great Stereo would be. We purchased another Play-5, set the pair up as a Stereo Pair and could not believe the fantastic results. While very happy with the Base coming out of the SONOS Play-5, we again were reading some reviews and decided to add the SONOS Sub. Wow, again an extra dimension was added to our SONOS enjoyment. We haven't purchased a Playbase as yet, but that may be next on our list to continue learning just how great these SONOS products truly are. A great purchase!

I got the Sonos Play Bar and it was great then two weeks later I got this and although it’s pricey it’s WAY WORTH IT!! By itself the play bar is wonderful but adding the sub it brought the system alive! I’m so impressed at when the volume is low you can still hear and feel the lows! If you’re in the market for a really good system then do yourself a favor and get it!! You will be amazed at how much it improves the sound bar by itself! I’m extremely happy I bought it!! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

I currently have 7 Sonos speakers.Easy to set up, easy to use and sounds great.I have them throughout the house.It went from quiet to a house filled with your music.

Very happy with my sub.....it completes my Sonos home theatre setup. Design is good, feel well made although is a bit expensive but then most sonos products are!

Easy setup, sounds great. Easy to integrate into a whole house system. Overall very good. Expensive for sure, but quality and easy of use make it somewhat palatable.

I was hesitant to go with a sound bar. I wanted to go with a traditional wired 7.1 system. My concern was overall sound quality. My install was in my family room with lots of windows and a very open space. Bottom line. I really enjoy the sound quality and the wireless rears continue to impress. We all know, nothing beats "full hard wired 7.1/5.1" systems but I have to be honest and say, I am very happy with this choice. If you are looking for a sound bar with great sound/ bass (and good looking), this speaker will do the job!

This subwoofer improved our Sonos sound to another level. Great bass sound. It's easy to set up and start to use right away.

Sonos makes a great product, it produces great music and works wonders for movies. With the ability to place anywhere in the room we where able to hide the unit behind the couch. We where able to sync the sub woofer up with the soundbar and satellite speakers within 20 minutes. I like how the Sonos app used my phone to adjust sound levels from all the speakers in the room in order to create the best sound for movies and music.

I purchased the Sonos Playbar which sounds fantastic by itself but when the Sonos sub is added, the whole system comes to life. The bass response is very tight and is capable of mixing in with the Playbar and providing a full frequency response or producing a room shaking rumble. The wireless feature is so nice which allows the sub to be out in the open or hide it behind or under furniture. But the gloss black look is so spectacular it hurts me to even think of hiding it.

When I first got the sub and connected it, I was underwhelmed. But, I realized that the default settings are very weak. After I figured out how to turn up the bass and tune the system, it was incredible how a sub along with a play 5 and two play one's really opened up the sound. I played around with turning on and off the sub while playing a song (in the advanced settings menu), and without the sub, the sound sounded weak and hallow compared to the umphh the sub gave. I was truly surprised as I was a skeptical buyer and was planning on returning it. But, I can't, the sound is too good!!

Serious base, no joke. Nice and sleek- hides behind my sofa. Love the wireless- no running wires across my living room! Love it

Holy cow, what a sub. Every punch is crisp and clear, subtle rumbling and musical nuances are brought forward as well as the huge explosions and suspenseful soundtracks that shake the room. I’ve never had to turn my volume past 50%, anything louder than that was too loud, and I like my movies loud (I’m 25). I am using the sub as part of my Sonos Beam and two Sonos One’s. Only downside is the hefty price tag, but comparably the other subs in this class are close in price.

I already had the sonos set up with a Sonos Beam and two Play 1 speakers for surround. Finally got the sub and it adds so much depth and bass. Its loud and punchy. I love this speaker so much and I would gladly spend another $700 for another. That is the only draw back to Sonos speakers. They are EXPENSIVE! My whole setup cost me about $1500. You can buy the bundles which are on sale sometimes but even then, going step by step can be an option. They do work seamless apple air play.

Bought this with the Playbar and 2 Play1 speakers. Whole system is great! We use it as a home stereo and then as a surround sound to watch movies. The sub woofer adds great bass and sits on the shelf either standing up or laying on its side.

Enhances both music and movie sound. Was easy to set up with my Sonos Beam using the app and no issues so far. Highly recommend

LOVE LOVE LOVE this SONOS subwoofer! I do not how I even watched movies without it before. This really makes my surround system so much nicer to listen to - I have suggested it to many of my friends. It is made nicely and can easily sit out in your living room or if your couch is tall enough it can sit under a couch or just be on the side of a couch, like mine is.

Seeing the price of this subwoofer was a little intimidating, but you do get what you pay for. This works seamlessly with the playbar and Play 1’s. The bass is adjustable through the app on my iPhone. Awesome bass, highly recommended!

I purchased this Subwoofer with my Sonos Soundbar and a set of Play:1 speakers. So with the entire setup in mind....very awesome subwoofer. Couldn't ask for a beefier, louder subwoofer to go with the additional speaker setup. Rattles my entire floor of my house. Solid build, cool design, great look. Will impress you. Overall though, Sonos puts out some great, affordable products for your phone theater experience.

I wasn’t too sure if the sub would give the bass I wanted, but was happily surprised. My biggest complaint is the price.

I bought the Sonos playbar, Sonos sub and two Sonos ones to complete my home theatre and I am in love! I was a little hesitant at first with the price, but after doing a lot of research and testing them in person, I went ahead and bought them. The sound is phenomenal! Easy set up all done through your phone and it connected seamlessly with WiFi. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to feel like they have legit movie theatre sound in their house!
