Bought this with my 900e TV. Got a great deal with the combo from Best Buy. I have a large great room and this fills the room with great sound. I know it’s not the same as a receiver and stand alone speakers but for simplicity, this is a great choice.

Received half off price with purchase of TV. Work great and sounds great. Sometimes speaker doesn't turn on when tv turns on but oh well, could be tv issue.

This works great with my Sony 55 inch XBR. I love it and it was easy to set up. Would recommend purchasing with the TV since you get a significant savings if you purchase at the same time.

Sony Soundbar and wireless subwoofer was easy to connect right out of the box. I connected it to my tv and existing Bose speakers with no issues at all and is a perfect addition to my sound system. The sound is amazing especially when watching movies or sports. The menus are easy to use to customize how the sound bar is setup such as watching sports, movies or regular television. I would absolutely recommend this product If your looking for a great sound and easy setup.

I've recently purchased the NT-5 and am extremely satisfied with it! It's not just one of those "loud" soundbars, the quality and clarity of the sound is superb. I've tested it watching films like The Fifth Element and Heat and you will know where the money went with this purchase. Great soundbar that I highly recommend. Of course you should always do your own research first before making any purchases like this, but just know this is a great quality soundbar. Extremely easy to set up and I run it through the HDMI ARC input from my TV (Sony x900e). Cheers.

When I bought the Sony TV & soundbar together, I received $200 off the soundbar! I didn't realize how great of a soundbar I was getting until the Sony Rep at my local store cranked it up and blew us away with the quality... that was enough to sell me. When I got it home, the sound on my music was amazing, but live TV, not so much? After I had the Geek Squad install my TV & soundbar they made adjustments to my Comcast Cable box that made a world of difference!

It's working great, but I had an issue where the subwoofer stopped linking to the sound bar until I had to manually link it back together. It still sounds the same, but instead of showing a green LED, it shows yellow now, signifying that it's linked to a different sound bar than the original, which isn't the case. But it works, that's all that matters.

I wasn't sure about a sound bar vs. surround sound. I have just set it up, but so far so good. The sound bar is very good sound.

I found this sound bar while looking for a tv. I settled on this one as it was the same brand as the TV I was purchasing and was on sale for the same price as the next lower tiered bar Setup was easy, once I figured it out. My problem was I wanted my Direct TV remote to control the volumn level of the sound bar. I, of course, probably didnt read the instructions as well as I should have, but in any event, to help anyone else hook the source to the sound bar HDMI in and then from the sound bar arc out to the arc port on tv.Now it works great and dont need 3 remotes for normal use. As far as the bar goes, my only complaint is with the voice level. There is not much adjustment. I find the voice level to be a little low compared to the other sounds. I am not a audiophile but any means, but the other sounds and bass sound good, just low voice I would think that a bar of this price would offer more adjustments and wouldn't need additional speakers. I am going to purchase 2 SRSZR5 surround speakers to see if that helps. Again one wouldnt think for the price of this bar you should have to spend more money for additional speakers, and if it works remains to be seen

I purchased this while it was on sale for half of what it generally retails for. At that price this is an exceptional value providing good sound for movies, regular TV and music. My only complaint is that occasionally the pass thru does not work which allows me to just use my TV speakers. This may be a problem with my TV in lieu of the sound bar; however, I have no way to confirm one or the other. Sound is clear and bass is good during those big action sequences in a movie. I would prefer more bass, but the bass module is sufficient. Recently watched The Greatest Showman and this soundbar made it truly enjoyable to watch. My wife, who typically complains of higher volumes never once complained as the sound was so greatly enhanced that we cranked up the volume. If you’re watching your budget, but don’t want to compromise on sound then this is a purchase you need to make. Sound options actually work, Bluetooth connection was easy and straight forward and it’s a breeze to connect. I like this so much that I’m considering buying the separate wireless speakers to pair with it to create a true surround sound experience.

Very pleased with this sound bar by Sony. It has proven to be a perfect addition to my 4K TV. The quality of the sound coming from this sound bar exceeds my expectations.

Sound: The sound from this soundbar is sometimes awesome, while just "okay" at other times. This is not a bad thing. This is just my observation. Given the price, it would be better if there was an ability to adjust the level of the sub. Picture: The unit works best when devices are connected to it directly. This means your cable, DVD, TV, etc all connected to the soundbar. I've noticed the picture quality appears to be slightly compromised when I'm running the signal through the soundbar. To be honest, most viewers would likely not notice the difference if picture quality; however, it is definitely noticeable to me. Not bad ... just noticeable. It's not enough to make me give a bad rating though.

I use this with a compatible Sony television. I have a cable box and an Apple TV that run through the Sound Bar to the television via the HDMI hookups. I also have two satellite speakers for surround sound. The satellite speakers found and attached themselves to the Sound Bar easily, but this does mean that neither they nor the Sound Bar can be used through the WiFi. The Sound Bar and TV turn on automatically and switch to the proper HDMI port when the Apple TV is activated. However, if the Apple TV lapses into its screen saver, the Sound Bar is turned off but the TV is left running, so you have to manually turn the Sound Bar back on with its remote. Nevertheless, this probably the best sounding Sound Bar for the money that I have seen. You can spend thousands more, but you will not get much better sound than you will with this Sound Bar.

Good price for this product, greatly enhance your viewing pleasure.

This sound bar is not quite as clear and boastful as my other. But for the price range you can't beat it

Sounds great. Bass doesn’t go as high as I would like for music purposes, but great for the tv/movies

Ok soundbar, not real loud, keeps disconnecting from Sony 4K

I wanted to purchase a higher quality sound bar for our tv. I tried this out in the store and the sound was pretty good. Since taking it home it has continued to perform well in our living room. Sometimes the change between dialog and action noise can be a bit loud, but it's not too bad.

The sounds bar gets loud and stays crisp at high levels, my neighbors complained a little about the subwoofer, so just can’t have it on blast too late at night. But sounds really good.
