Overall good sound is produced using this sound bar over the tv speakers. Really need the wireless speakers to get the surround sound effect. Doesn't always turn on when the tv is turned on, have to turn on with extra remote for sound bar. Must have a setting wrong. Overall good sound.

Bought this sound bar with the purchase of our Sony 55" TV. We love it bc the DH is hard of hearing and the SB makes the clarity top quality. A bit pricey but well-worth the purchase!

This is a great addition to our Sony TV. The quality of sound is great and the sub woofer is amazing.

Paired this with a Sony 930E Television (Amazing), because we had been living with a samsung tv and only the tv speakers and we were tired of barely hearing the program and then the commercials were 100 times louder. Sales person gave us an excellent demo on this sound bar and it works as advertised. I just couldn't justify the price of the SONOS 7.1 sound bar (which sounded amazing also), so for less than half the price we opted for this Sony and we love it. We had forgotten what good sound quality was like. I use the bluetooth function to play music from my phone on a regular basis and I love it. I no longer need or want a giant receiver with speakers all over the house, one sound bar and a bass module does everything. I only took one star off because the remote is a bit cheesy and I have to turn the unit on separately every time I turn on the tv. (Yes I am being picky) Overall outstanding.

I love that this soundbar comes on as soon as I grab the tv remote. Hardly do I ever need the soundbar remote. Sound is crisp clear but my hearing wishes it was a little louder. Overall very good soundbar. I will recommend to anyone who hears fine.

I purchased the Sony HT-NT5 sound bar for my new Sony XBR 75in 4K TV because of the great reviews and also excellent sound that I heard after visiting my local Best Buy. Not only is this sound bar great looking and functional, it also is very easy to setup. It makes a great addition to my XBR but also is fully capable of all my 4K needs.

This Sony Soundbar is awesome! it delivers clear and concise sound with a surround sound affect that is surprisingly nice considering it's from a single source. However, if you're like me and really want to hear a character walking into a room from behind you, then you have the wonderful option to add-on to this system with other Sony wireless speakers. This is add-on can cost you some considerable additional dollars thus, my 1 star reduction. To be fair, I went from a wired surround sound system to this wireless soundbar so my expectations were very high. I had to add the additional speakers to get the sound experience that I was looking for. But this system thoroughly impressed people that came over to my house prior to the add-ons. Post add-ons, they were blown away! I am truly thankful for Best Buy and their open-box items. I got this system and one of my add-ons for a more reasonable price than the Sony Stickershock price.

System better than I expected. This looked to be maybe a year old model or something because it was on sale. Thought maybe with the break on price it wouldn’t be as good as some of the others and I was way wrong. This system is awesome. Would but this over some of the ones I have in the rest of my house that cost over $1000. Thinking of getting three more. Is especially great in a movie room with 4K

This is a very good soundbar. However, the list price of $800 is unreasonable. It sometimes goes on sale (I have seen as low as $600) but I think even that is too much. I was able to get this on a great deal as an open-box purchase, which was further discounted because I bundled it with a new (in-box) large screen 4K TV. I have never bought anything open box before so I was somewhat nervous, but Best Buy advertised it as excellent condition, and it came just as advertised. I am no audiophile, but this soundbar sounds great for both music and movies. The subwoofer provides solid bass. The reviews online are generally very positive, with the one constant knock being the $800 price point. I think if you can get this for under $450, it is a solid purchase. If you are going to spend the full $800, there are many other options you might want to consider instead

You will need a sound bar for pretty much any tv you get now. Speakers in the tv aren’t that great. This sound bar sounds great. Easy to connect and easy to use

We simply love the sound bar system with the wireless subwoofer. The sound is amazing. This was also set up by Austin of The Geek Squad. He did an amazing job.

This unit kicks out a lot of sound and I am very pleased with the sound quality. The sub isn't great but it produces enough bass to get by. I've had some problems with connectivity. Sound cut out on the tv input, but the problem resolved itself the next day

I bought this because of a deal when buying with a SONY TV, only $400 for an item that is regularly priced at $800. It sounds great. But I think the SONOS and BOSE systems for $800+ are superior. But for $400, I'm sticking with this one.

Great clarity and bass. I like the bluetooth aspect of it. Sports and movies rock. Minimalist design is nice too.

Bought this soundbar after watching video reviews on it and reviews from sites. I have to say it sound awesome both for gaming, watching tv, and movies. Really easy to set-up and it gives you 3 extra hdmi ports giving you more inputs for more devices. It also lets you by pass hdr connected devices. Recommend to everyone.
