    This system packs a punch. I bought a 300W Sony system and the difference is noticeable between this 550W system and the 300W one.

    Was not impressed with rear speakers. Can hardly hear them unless you are right at them. I have a JBL Cinema SB400 that has much better sub woofer and better sound. I ended up using the JBL system in the living room and putting Sony system in bedroom.

    Have problems with the subwoofer rattling on certain higher frequencies. Sony makes it difficult to get repairs, requiring one to pack up the entire system and ship it to a contractor they use. That is a real inconvenience and annoyance.
