Great sound system to listen to AM/FM broadcasts as well as play CD's Excellent speaker system

I think that this equipment is probably not the top of the line...like say BOSE. However, for our living room it is perfect. We had to call to get help to set it up. We are not sure how to use all the features, but we got it primarily for the radio and to play cd's.

Use it to power in-ceiling speakers in kitchen, bluetooth connected to my Alexa device. Works well, although a bit underpowered at times. Nice compact unit stays cool and does the job. Never tried the speakers, still in the box in my basement.

This was purchased as a gift for a family member that would prefer to play music than watch TV. We have always been Sony fans and once again they have not disappointed. The system size fits nicely in the stand she bought for the TV and we couldn't blow the speakers when we cranked up the sound.

This stereo is perfect for what I needed for my massage room. I may need to look at some speakers to mount to my walls and get them up off the floor, but the unit itself works well for my small space.

get it now while it is being discontinued... excellent value... bluetooth, Aux input, great AM/FM radio, decent sound output for size... simple, clean, will fit most anywhere... can use Aux in for decent TV sound... I have three (3) units in various locations...

I like the speaker sound but the functions display on the receiver is too bright for me at night with no way to dim that I can find, and I have to wait a bit longer than I care to for the CD player to come up. It even takes a moment for the tuner to bring a radio station up. Works fine otherwise.

My needs were not many. I needed a system that I could use and separate the trax, which I did by not using one speaker. However, I found so much more to enjoy with blue tooth, USB, etc. Great system and though not considered portable, I did take it to church one night and it was very light. Great buy at Best Buy. Staff helpful too.

The SONY CMT-SBT100 is a 2.0 bookshelf system, with great audio quality, enough power for a bedroom, small office or small / medium room. It has elegant and discreet appearance, and the Bluetooth connection is very easy to setup, as all of its functions. For the price, it is an excellent choice. Very satisfyied with mine. The Bluetooth connection works readly with Iphone 5 and iPad, Samsung Galaxys, as also with Dell Inspiron notebook.

I bought this stereo system for my father who originally had a Bose system he loved but was getting old. He loved all the features the stereo had and for the price it was a steal! Overall the system has great quality sound and a lot of accessible ports to connect his phone or iPad or laptop.

The quality of the sound is great! It looks super! I'm really pleased! Is the perfect small music system, to listen music almost anytime,and enjoy it! except for big big big parties...for my everyday,regular smooth life, is perfect !

Works great in my bedroom. Rich sound for such a small system. However, the remote setup is the same Sony setup since the late 90's. Backlights would be great, especially for use in a bedroom. Also, the alarm clock feature could be more user friendly. All in all, a solid unit.

This unit has great range & separation of sound, W/ a wide range of Hi & Lo sounds, blended as though you were listening to the real live presentation. I also use the,USB input for playing my old CD's, that have been transferred; Sounds really good,too.

System in a small room, so the small size is great, longer speaker wires would be nice.

This is a pretty good stereo system, especially for the money. I am VERY satisfied with the sounds of the radio and USB connection. The speakers, I cranked it up high, and the speakers held the great sounds of the music I played. Very, very satisfied.
