I'm a big Panasonic guy. However, after Best Buy discontinued selling Panasonic TVs, I looked at Sony. Overall, I'm happy with our new purchase. Great picture and quality, plus it was easy to setup to my wifi and other devices. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Sony if I had to.

This is an amazing 4K TV. I purchased this originally for my PS4 Pro. It is a perfect match since this TV supports HDR and is a 10bit panel. I love how thin this panel is and the colors are amazing. I love the Android TV feature and run Kodi on it. :) I would recommend this TV.

Got this as a gift. And now considering getting one for myself. The picture is absolutely amazing. It upscales everything. And the menu is actually really easy to navigate. You can download apps from the play store and it also has the built in Chromecast. Definitely recommend it

The picture is great. I am having some difficulty with the interface. I would like to move some apps around as I use some but not others and the shortcuts at the bottom of the screen do not reflect my preferences. Also there are times the TV interface does not respond, but typically on boot up, I just need to wait. I am sure an update will be out to fix this. What does not need fixing is the picture. Netflix Original shows are even more enjoyable with this TV. I purchased a 4K DVD player with some 4K DVDs and this TV shines even more.

Returned a Vizio E series for this X850d and made a great choice! I had bought the E Series only because I was looking for the cheapest option to get into the 4K world. After not being satisfied with the Vizio, like i thought might have happened, I decided to make a better investment into this ecosystem. Gaming is top notch on this tv with no input lag at all. I usually game on a monitor due to poor experience with past tvs but i can confidently say this tv has changed my perception on the gaming experience. Pair that with a great picture and how seamless Android TV OS works it's an all around win for me.

This thing is beautiful and so is its display! We were deciding between an LG OLED, Sony 700 Series, and a Samsung 7000 something. OLED was out of the budget and we read many "hit or mis"s reviews on the Samsung and after having a brand new Samsung dishwasher break down on us we started looking heavily into Sony. Stumbled upon the 850 Ultra Slim. Perfect balance between features, aesthetics, budget.

Wonderful tv with great picture detail and color. Setup was very simple. We watch lots of movies and sports. The movement on this tv is superior to both Samsung and LG. This tv is hung above the fireplace and looks fantastic in my condo. I would highly recommend

with help from the best buy team i took this sony4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range home. the picture and sound were better than most until i changed the factory defaults...WOW! Nice picture and great sound for such a slim screen thickness. i don't have anything bad to say about this. Now i want the larger version for living room. to add the smart features are really easy to use..

Love the picture quality on the 55- inch 4 k sony. The quality can not be beat.

i was looking for 50in. no smaller i did some research on the 55in. sony,because my samsung plasma was dying after 8 years of service, besides the research and talking to guys at best buy, wow what a picture, cant comment on the sound because hooked it to a sound system. the price was lower than expected, you wont be disappointed.

Didn't have a specific tv in mind when we went to Best Buy. With information from the sales person & good past experiences with Sony products in mind, we chose this Sony tv. We are very happy with the picture & size of our new tv. Easy to set up & use also.

This Sony 55XBR850D tv replaced a Samsung plasma HDTV that I had loved until it crapped it out on us without warning one night. Did a lot of research, read a lot of reviews and almost pulled the trigger on another Samsung. But I kept coming back to the glowing reviews of this Sony. And when I did an in store comparison of the 2 tv's, the Sony picture just knocked me over more so than the Samsung, particularly the night scenes. On the Sony, you felt like you were actually standing on that street corner, the picture was so clear, detailed, and lifelike. The truth of the matter is that when it comes to these new 4K UHDTV's, you can't go wrong with either Sony, Samsung, or LG. They're all great. You just have to go see for yourself which one pleases you more. How do I know that I made the right choice? One month later, my wife is still speaking in tones of amazement about this tv!!!

I have been a Sony man for years, but I wanted to purchase a 60 inch Samsung that would work with my S7 phone. The one I choose and researched was on sale. When a salesman approached me I was determined not to be swayed. When I started asking questions, I found that the Samsung was not all that I thought it was. The salesman showed me a Sony 4K Android, then showed me the difference in the two. The Sony was a 55 inch, but had a better picture by far, along with other components that I did not know about. I thought the salesman was working on commission and wanted me to buy a more expensive television for his benefit. Then when I found out there was no commission and he was just directing me in the right direction, I was impressed. The Sony was $300 more, but was worth every dollar, I am glad I stayed with Sony. I have had it for a month and could not be happier.

TV provides a great picture and is what we were looking for in our space

I have owned Sony TVs for years now and this one doesn’t disappoint. Beautiful picture and the design is clean and simple. I really like the nice solid base. I do wish it had a swivel feature though, but the simplicity is nice.

After reading many reviews, I was choosing this TV or a Samsung. The Best Buy associate showed me the pros and cons between each. This tv has a more simplified remote. The picture quality is great, setup was very easy. Updates were simple and quick.

Sony put a very high quality effort into a reasonably priced 4K TV. Excellent performance. I had intended to buy a Samsung until I reviewed the options with the BB sales representative. Very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a great Christmas!

TV worked great right out of the box, easy connections and great picture. I would recommend to any one who wants a mid level TV with out having to spend $$ more dollars, it has many great features at the touch of a button on the TV's remote...

I was having second thought initially on buying this TV but I have been a longtime Sony follower so I followed my gut feeling. This TV is very nice. Image is clear especially if you match it with a 4K Blu-ray player. Very happy with this buy.

We purchased the 55" Sony TV to replace our 9 year old giant 55" TV that was starting to be unreliable. The Sony really fits nicely into our book stand resting on a glass holding bench. The color is great and we like the picture quality.
