Love the brightness

Happy overall. All apple tv shows are dark for some reason so recommend watching on vivid. the sound is excellent.

To address the issue of blooming around high contrast scenes with your Sony K55XR70 TV, you can try adjusting some picture settings. Here are a few steps you can take to mitigate this problem:
1. Turn Off Adv. Contrast Enhancer:
On the remote control, press the Quick Settings button.
Select Picture & Sound → Picture → Brightness → Adv. contrast enhancer → Off.
2. Turn Off Black Adjust:
On the remote control, press the Quick Settings button.
Select Picture & Sound → Picture → Brightness → Black adjust → Off.
Additionally, consider changing the Picture Mode to either "Cinema" or "Professional" to reduce temporary issues related to blooming.

Set up was easy to follow. Access to change personal settings very nice. There is one local channel that blips sometimes, however, I believe that is likely the station's or my antenna's fault since it does not happen with any other channel. I've had this TV for a month and the viewing experience has been great! I am looking forward to enjoying it for the next several years.

Great Quality TV

The speakers are pretty clear for vocals as well, although I do use a soundbar. The Google OS is very snappy and easy to use. Also I am pleased with the NextGen ATSC 3.0 tuner. I don’t have cable TV, so I do use an indoor antenna by a window for over-the-air local TV. With the NextGen, you get 4K quality AND a stronger reception. The latter being the biggest benefit. Significantly less channel reception disruption. And due to being 4k, I will usually watch CBS football over the air instead of with my Paramount Plus subscription. It’s amazing picture quality. My only con would be the remote. It is a good remote; however, I wish it had a backlight and a voice find feature (due to having a child in the house that tends to misplace from time to time).

We have an older sound bar and could not connect the optical cable to the tv, but it still works wth wifi.

The apps platform is stable and reliable. I have found the fine detail in the picture to be excellent and the video processing options can be set so they aren't obvious. Quality is the first. This TV is no exception. Its picture quality, color, and depth are amazing. There are adjustments for everything within the menu. The screen sound is very good but we added a JBL sound bar w/woofer! OMG, top-notch. Our previous sony was still working but not a smart tv. Had it for 21 yrs. I hope this Bravia 7 one lasts.

I could make a huge review but i will leave it with saying, its not there top tier tvs, but its still really good.

This replaced one of my Samsungs and I am not disappointed. TV sound is excellent and is paired with a Sony soundbar. Still working on dynamics and haven’t figured out sub woofer connectivity without running through my surround sound amp. Remote is small and light and easy to use.
