TV is GARBAGED WHEN IT COMES TO FIXING

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Avoid the TV, extremely sensitive, no matter if you are covered under warranty that Best Buy or Sony would provided if it is caused by you they won't fix or even take a look, avoid spending thousands on a tv that can get damaged easily even with the RED LED LIGHTS LAST TIME IM SPENDING THOUSANDS ON FUTURE SONY PRODUCTS LIKE TVS, THEY DON'T PRIORITIZE CUSTOMERS

Sony TV

Geek squad installed it. Seemed to work fine. Next day got message from Sony to update the software. I followed the instructions and even had phone support guys try… to no avail. Returned it and replaced by Samsung QLED. Workes like a charm!

My last and final purchase from Best Buy

Geek squad said it was the cable box, left without the TV working. Spent more than an hour on the phone with Comcast after the Geek squad left. Comcast said it was the TV. Hooked the old TV back up, it worked with the same xfinity cable box and cable. I returned the TV as you said it would take two weeks to get a replacement and you could not guaranty the new one would work

Due to Covid, we can’t get anyone from Best Buy to assist with set up. So we are stuck with a $5,300 TV and Surround sound on which we cannot watch Network television even after more than 50 hours of painstaking effort! The instruction manuals are nearly useless and support is impossible to reach. SAD!!

Amazing sound that comes through TV monitor...no extra sound system required and the colors is so vibrant. Able to view my apps even able to use my old vcr which is hooked up to the TV using the converter...I am impressed. The sales person Carl was great.. he had a lot of patience with me during my purchase and with all my questions he had to repeat and review everything with me. He had great knowledge of the product and able to describe the difference comparing with other TVs. He was a big help in making my decision to purchase OLED Sony TV. When it came time to pay, I bugged him to review everything one more time as I was confused with warranty stuff. He did and wasn't annoyed, great customer services. In addition, I was looking for TV console, and he quickly found exactly what I have described.

Died after 1 year

Literally a few months after the one year warranty ended it died and is unrepairable. Sony has definitely fallen off. Big investment to only last for one year. Be wary of the long term quality on this one....

Great TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 55” LG 1080p OLED set. Unbelievable picture quality. Very good sound. Oreo operating system works well and will presumably be even better after upgrade adds Airplay 2.0. Fairly wide selection of android tv apps including all the usual suspects and some I wouldn’t have stumbled upon. Alexa integration and Harmony integration need work — problem with being an early adopter. Remote controls most but not all Tivo commands. Pulls up Tivo program guide but not DVR content. Subtitle button doesn’t work with Tivo (no Tivo button, CC buried in menu structure). Wish macros could be written for colored buttons. Delighted with purchase after 5 days.

Sony not reliable!

I feel sick that I spent $2500+ for a TV that’s not paid off. I’ll probably have to buy a new one! It won’t be a Sony!

A great tv if you want a great 4k OLED picture

The quality of the picture is exactly what I wanted and have 0 issues with the product. The tv is responsive to the remote and the interface is easy. Would buy again

Amazing TV.

Combined with a surround sound system and my 4k blu ray player, this TV has transformed our small family room into our own home theater. The picture quality is amazing. Streaming looks great but you owe it to yourself to get a 4k blu ray player as well to really let this TV shine.

Love my Sony
