However, the quality achieved will come down to broadcast content- broadcast quality/format. ALot of potential but at a fairly steep price point. We purchased at Best Buy during a $300 off promotion and was the best price found for the TV. I have noticed i wish it was a little brighter- energy savings brightness not adequate so regular mode only acceptable setting for adequate brightness. Good sound quality from the unit- however due to a minimal number of inputs for peripheral devices, i will be adding a soundbar to increase sound dynamic and allow more inputs (DVD/XBox/etc). Nice TV overall and satisfied with the purchase.

Bought an LG oled first, but it was to dim and didn't have enough range. Also, i dont think the upscaling on the sony can be matched right now. When you run an older movie on an oled the picture falls apart. Overall the mini led is just more balanced out when it it comes to different sources of pictures. Way more consistent. Colors are more true too.

Price is crazy for all the Sony tv. I looked at oled 80j and 90j for the past 3 years. Can’t afford the price. I am coming back today and give another try. For two hours staring at oled 80j, 90j and this one x95k, and some Samsung neo q led. This tv just stand out to me every time I look at it. . Best Buy put this tv next to 65 oled 80j and 90j. This tv is just so bright and clear. Unbelievable. Turn on my favorite utube song and watch. It’s stun me with quality and sound. All my family stun as well. And seriously I thought this is new oled tv until I went to checkout and find out this is mini led. Such an unbelievable quality piece. At this price. Strongly recommend. Try it and enjoy it guys.

Blooming is doable once the television is calibrated. Dolby Vision movies really pop!

Trying to get rid my Oled with screen full of dead pixels. but didn't want to go with Samsung Mini LED this time. went with Sony after reading many reviews. Super bright, vibrant colors, contrast is not as good as oled but comes really close. Top and bottom black bars when watching 2.35:1 movies are not as black as Samsung, Imax ratio wide screen content will be slightly worse too. But the colors are really good. Screen uniformity was really good no DSE was observed. Had to exchange mine due to 1 single dead pixel. Thanks to Bestbuy customer support did get a 2nd panel which was perfect. Google TV software on this tv is excellent, snappy haven't noticed bugs so far.

LGs, Sharp's, Samsungs, Sonys). The Son's have always blown me away even before their flat screens. Have never really seen colors like the Sony produces. I owned the model year before this one (the 95j). Beautiful picture and great black levels. Then I saw the 95k. Kind of hard to describe, but the blacks were really black, approaching the OLEDs. I will never own another OLED TV. They still burn in and maybe not as much as the older models any is too much. Just but this TV. You won't be sorry. (we bought a 75" for the main HT room and this 65" for our bedroom). Thanks, Sony!

We were replacing a 13 year old 45 inch Sony TV that was still going strong. I just needed a bigger screen because my eyes aren't as good as they used to be. It does not disappoint. Looks nice and sleek and the colors are vibrant, even with the ambient light. My son was a former Geek Squad guy and he set it up for me so no idea how hard/easy it is! But it didn't seem to take him long. I was concerned that the stand wouldn't be very stable because it looks so slim but it is rock solid. No idea if the sound system is any good as I have my own nice speakers.

I am really glad I ignored the trend right now for Oled, after seeing several OLED's and their ABL in action, I was like forget this. When it comes to the view angles, we couldn't be happier and I have NO idea why so many top end review sites trash the angle. Sure, while at Best buy they had the x95k panel on the same wall as the a90j and at extreme angles, the oled kept its color better but come on, at these angles it looks like your looking at your tv through the crack of a barely opened bedroom door. We have a pretty decent size living room this tv is in and even though we dont have it centered installed, the farthest seatings we have to the left and right of this set have no problems watching content. I also purchased the Vizio Elevate Sound bar (as it too was on sale). I know Sony would have wanted a sony bar to go with this, but the Vizio Elevate is just too good to pass up (even if it was not on sale) ** Remote ** I am currently trying to deal with an issue, I purchased this tv in July of 2022 (during Black Friday in July sale). Upon my first viewing in the evening, I noticed something was not right. This tv should come with the Sony Remote Commander RMF-tx900u which is a backlit remote (and comes with the Bravia Core preinstalled button vs Youtube option) however I got the RMF-TX800u (comes with Youtube vs Bravia Core button) which is NOT backlit. The TV set did not look opened box when it arrived (as it should have not been) so I'm thinking it is just a goof when it was boxed. I am reaching out to Sony in hopes this gets resolved. There is a youtube video called "Sony | 2022 Bravia TV Remotes Product Overview" which validates which remote I should have got. Make sure if you just recenlty picked up this tv, that you have the correcet remote!
