Was worried about all the blooming issues I saw on youtube etc. Figured I give it a try cause I could return an start over if I needed. Let me say forget the blooming scares. Its awesome day or night and if u see any blooming there’s so much control to get rid of it aka black level adjust and gamma. I haven’t had to adjust it though and my 65” is awesome. So people complaining about blooming are video purists and trust me this tv is brilliant at handling the blooming. The closest competitor being the Samsung is the QN90b and quality control kept me from choosing Samsung. No DSE aka dirty screen on my panel like you get on Samsung. Hockey Test on YouTube convincingly showed I got a great panel which Sony is known for …. Quality Control! Close to Oled blacks and brighter! And newest VRR update for gamers is a cool add on.

That being said, I don't know the difference between oled, mini led, fancy crystals, etc. My tv looks great and I'm happy. I don't use it for gaming so i don't know what it would look like if i did.

I ordered this from Best Buy with a wall mount and the Geek Squad delivery and setup. I'm very glad that I did. The TV was delivered promptly and the Geeks were pros. They mounted the wall kit and setup the TV about a hundred times faster than I could have on my own. They got it working with my cable box and showed me the smart apps. I was (and am) blown away by the quality of the picture. I am an older guy a deaf in one ear, so I setup the sound to optimize dialog. Once that was set, I could kick back in my adjustable bed and cool my jets watching broadcast TV and streaming movies. Color me happy!
