Great TV, the inky thing I don't line is that the range and angles of the remote are kind of week

We're very satisfied with this TV. The clarity is great. We really like it mounted on the wall as well.

It is a good smart tv. Good screen quality. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. We has to get a sound bar because the sound just wasn't there but no big deal.

This is the best full array TV when compared to samsung and lG in the price range.

Love the TV except the glare off the screen. We upgraded from a 52" Sony Bravia, will little glare. So now we watch with certain lights turned off. Must be the glass being more glossy.

The only big-screen flat tv I have ever owned was plasma; a 51" Samsung (still have it) and a 55" Panasonic, which is what I replaced with the Sony. I had not looked into TV technology for 7-8 years so had to educate myself before making this purchase. I quickly realized I would need to pay 1500.00+ for a TV that would satisfy my quality standards. 4K, Ultra HD, FALD, VA panel, Dolby, HDCP 2.2, tuner, (I only have OTA antenna), the Sony has these, and it had good ratings across the board, including being rated "Best Internet TV" at a couple of credible sites. Yes, I debated over the TCL 65 but in the end the Panel issues I read about scared me away and I dropped it from my list. In the end I had three TV's-LG C8OLED, Samsung Q8, and the Sony XBR 900. The OLED's received "Best-Picture" ratings across the board, with QLED close behind, and, while I don't mind paying for quality, OLED is a new enough technology that I just couldn't see paying 900.00 more for a picture quality just barely discernibly better than the Sony, and that is all I would be paying the extra money for. I have had the Sony for a month and couldn't be more pleased. I have it set up in our family room while the Samsung plasma is in our LR. You can stand in one place and see both screens very well. I still think the plasma overall has a more "realistic" picture, and I would have bought another plasma had they still been available, but the Sony is definitely brighter, even set on "Standard" picture mode at about 60% brightness level, and the FALD provides really good contrast. I have done very little tweaking on the picture; the main thing I did was turn off the "Auto-Dimming" feature, which turns down the brightness when your room is dark. My wife wanted it bright all the time, and while it is plenty bright in the daytime, in the evening and at night, it is really bright! So, the picture is very satisfactory, but where this TV really shines for me is it's internet capability. We have terrible internet service (3 mbps) and with the old TV's I could only stream Netflix, and a lot of the time the picture would not be HD, and I had a lot of pixilation, buffering, etc, and I had the TV hard-wired. I do not know what is different about the Sony, but now I can stream everything in 1080 HD with no issues at all! This may have been the case with any new "smart" TV, but that has been the biggest plus so far. The TV has all the apps I want, and I love the Alexa voice-activated feature. It works great! Just hit the button on remote, say "Doc Martin", and within 15-20 seconds I am watching it on Hulu. I can recommend this TV with no reservations.

We had purchased a LG that stopped working after one year. We went back to our Bravia and love it.
