Doesn’t support Apple play or the Apple app

If you subscribe to Apple, buy another brand. We spoke to support the the 900F series will not be updated to support any Apple services which is unfortunate since we now need to return this and buy an LG.

Purchased this tv as a black Friday deal after seeing all the positive reviews. Delivery was fast and well done. Unfortunately after turning the tv on I immediately noticed something off about the color and image quality. I'm not sure if I received a defective device but the image looked washed and colors were unnatural for a 4K device. I researched multiple settings online and played with it for hours but I finally gave up and decided to return it. My 4years old Vizio has a much better image quality. I'm very disappointed with Sony! Would not recommend it

TV needs replacement less than 2 years

TV 900E purchased 11/8/17, $2000.00 (with tax). Screen is banded with multi colored stripes across entire width 1/2 way up. This is unacceptable!!! Had 2 Samsungs prior and were buying a new TV every 3 years due to screen failure. Thought at $2000.00+ per TV 3 year replacements were unacceptable so we switched brands. TV manufactures if you have a great product start offering longer warranties from the mfgr. for these expensive TVs. Not making the consumer buy a 5 year warranty for several hundred dollars.

With live TV, picture is blurry, splotchy. One face on the screen will be amazing, the other blurry. Have tried all settings. Going to see if this can be fixed or exchanged

I'd owned a Sony Trinitron TV for years so I had great confidence buying another Sony TV. However, after owning the XBR65900E for 14 months now I feel completely different. It no longer works due to 2 LED backlights failing on it. Of course, it's now 2 months out of warranty and the $450 repair is on me. To add insult to injury, Sony doesn't provide parts for the TV. The backlights are coming from a 3rd party provider I have no experience with. Total crap shoot on whether spending the money will be worth it.

Issues with HDMI ports

Purchased this TV a few months ago. From day 1 I have had issues with all of the HDMI ports. Will randomly loose connection while trying to watch TV. Sometimes its a few seconds and it will start working again. Majority of the time though I have to change the HDMI port and change my input. I have changed out the HDMI cable 3 times and still have the same problems. Very disappointing. Would not recommend this tv.

bought a XBR 65 900F , got home and set it up the tv, picture didn't fill the screen, had lines across the screen and the picture wasn't clear. I had to drive over 50 miles to get tv and now I'm having to take it back. this will cost me $50.00 in gas and my time. don't think ill get another Sony. got in touch with Sony and they said all they'd do was give me a new tv or my money back, no giving credit for my out of pocket expenses. Probably get the vizio p-Quantum.

Doesn’t turn on

I have the X900E and it won’t turn on. Less then 2 years old. Do more research before purchasing a Sony TV. Specifically go to their users forum on their website. I appears like this is a common issue for their Android TV’s.

I purchased a Sony TV that had a bad power board in September, Went bad in December of the same year. Fast forward 15 months later and the replacement TV Died. Sony won't do anything. They have poor quality TV's by today's standards.
XBR65-810C.
Don't make the same mistake I did and have a 65 in Sony TV Paperweight.

I have the 900f 75inch, and it has nothing but issues. First, on start up I get an error message that says no connection change input, then about 10 seconds later it finally comes on. Secondly, the HDR mode is very dark and not enjoyable at all. I was always a fan of Sony but am very dissatisfied with this tv.

Sony dolby visions terrible

I have had this tv for 3 years but now anything in Dolby vision is unwatchable. The picture is too dark. Seems like Sony doesn’t care to fix the problem. I have bought A LOT of Sony products but I am done.

Video stopped working after 2 years. Seems like a short time for such an expensive TV.
No support from Sony itself (no goodwill allowance for repair, etc.).

One half of the screen developed a color tint within 3 months of purchase. Contacted customer support and they have agreed to replace the TV with a new one. I expected better quality control from SONY.
