I still have my Samsung and it looks great but I purchased this for the 4K HDR as well as for future gaming, either on an Xbox series X or Playstation 5. The TV is bright and the color is vivid and detailed. Even my Sonos beam soundbar somehow sounds even better... must be the processor. I did a lot of research before purchasing this TV and I'm not disappointed. It didn't make sense to me to spend twice as much on an OLED. The android ecosystem is nice in that you can cast netflix, slingtv or youtube directly from your phone.

A few bugs with sound cutting out and the tv needing to be restarted but overall a great set with great picture at a great price.

A Great TV at a Great Price!

Especially now that it has new firmware updates to support 4K 120fps. The TV has great color. The motion is super smooth. Make sure you at least buy a premium HDMI capable to support the HDR/HDR10/Dolby Vision etc. Make sure you go on YouTube and find the right settings to calibrate the TV for your specific purposes and living space. The 65” is just under $1000 and that’s a steal for me. If my budget was bigger I might go with a Samsung Q80T at the same size or a bigger X900h. For me this TV is perfect for my budget, my gaming and my movie watching.

Before this I’ve always had Samsung TVs. I ended up going with this bc I just purchased a PlayStation 5 and needed a tv that could do 120hz. Since they are both Sony they seamlessly work together and I barely had to even set anything up. It was amazing. Picture is amazing as well. Voice control on the remote is something I never knew I needed till after I had it too. Tv remembers all your shows and apps and exactly where you left off. Overall this tv is fantastic.

Standard 2K vision but the 4K really is stunning.

The colors and clarity are what you would expect and the sound is better than you would expect. Unless you are watching a 4K program, it is standard 2K vision but oh the 4K really is stunning. One of the easier set ups (WiFi a must) and compatible with Alexa. For whatever reason, you must use HDMI 2 for your cable/service provider input but you have 3 more HDMIs available. The price point for this television is appropriate.

Glitchy - Amazing Picture Quality

However, it is glitchy and Sony’s updates have caused more problems then they fixed. Now, Dolby Vision causes green flickering, there are frame stutters on streaming media, and the tv randomly restarts - all after the last two updates that were supposed to provide promised gaming features (but have done so unsatisfactorily). Very disappointing but all I can do at this point is hope it gets fixed with a future update.

If your TV restarts randomly, please try doing a soft reset by holding down the power button for 8 seconds then choosing reset. Also ensure that the TV is using the most current firmware. If that doesn’t correct the issue follow the troubleshooting steps on the Help Guide.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a very good TV at a somewhat affordable price supports the PS5's 120 hz with HDMI 2.1 The update was a little late but I have gotten it and it works great. It's not quite an oled TV when it comes to certain aspects but it's pretty close and comes in at a much cheaper price. Great for movies gaming and the sound quality is wonderful without adding any speakers soundbar surround sound you can get away with just using the TV which is very rare. Also I feel Android TV in my opinion is one of the better operating systems for a TV.

Close to oled picture quality in hdr without the future potential burn in risk. Netflix, Hulu, Prime video all show way better than my 4K60hz tv you can really tell the difference in detail! As of the time of this review the 65 is almost %50 off! Great deal for amazing picture quality! There are cons but honestly for this price and Sony quality you can easily overlook those unless you want to spend 2,500+ to get all the features this tv has and doesn’t.

Great TV with a few issues

I am a big fan of Android tv OS, although it may not be for everyone and not as user friendly as Roku or others. It has HDMI 2.1 amonh other next gen features. Perfect match for my PS5! My only complaint is the sound randomly goes out at times, mostly when using soundbar via earc. Also, it randomly disconnects from the internet sometimes. Hopefully these issues are fixed with a simple software update soon. Otherwise, I recommend.

We are also sorry to hear that the sound randomly goes out. Please ensure your TV has the latest version installed. For internet connectivity issues, there is an issue in the XBR X900H / X90CH TV software which may cause the built-in Wi-Fi connection to turn off. This issue will be addressed in an upcoming software update. In the meantime, restart the TV each time the Wi-Fi connection turns off. On the remote control, press and hold the Power button until Restart appears on the TV screen, and then press Enter to restart it.

Just received and set-up my 75" and it looks amazing. The picture quality is great out of the box, and only needed minor adjustments to the Motion settings. The black is very black, making the colour pop. The built-in Android TV is also great, the UI is very usable and friendly, and the responsiveness is incredible. I've been shopping for a new 4K TV for a while and looked at many including Samsung's QLEDs, SLG's OLEDs, and TCL's miniLEDs, but this is the best bang for the buck. Highly recommended.

I was fretting over some monumental questions. Should I wait for 8K? Should I buy Oled? Is Dolby Vision necessary. Is operating system important. I talked to the Best Buy sales guys at 3 locations; I tried to arm myself with knowledge. When the 65" Sony X900H dropped below $1000, my decision was as clear as the X900H display. I purchased the unit and set it up at my daughters. Set up was easy and the picture quality is great.
