I was skeptical at first about getting this TV because Sony was being a little shaky about which of their TVs were getting the HDMI 2.1 update. However now that the software update is out, this TV was the one to get it. It’s now “Next Gen Console ready”. The I have had the TV for about a month now and the Picture Quality is amazing. The Sound quality is good as well, but having said that I bought a Sony sound bar. I will also say the the Android Smart Tv thing is kinda of a hassle to get used to.

really good tv, haven't had it long but had to do a power reset where you hold the power button down for 5 sec to reset it. I had lines across the TV. This fixed it. Love the voice remote. Sony platform limits some of what you can access in the way of 3rd party channels, nothing to do with the TV. I have this in a very dark room. The blacks are very good. Don't think I could get better without going OLED. For the price I'm very happy. 65" TV in the bedroom is big but they didn't have anything smaller in stock.

This TV has great image, the HDR is bright, and the black is deep. No issues with setup, and the android TV OS works great.

Great TV, picture is fantastic even at just 1080p. Watched Star Wars of Disney+ and the detail was amazing. Picture is bright, with only very slight dimming at the corners (only noticeable with a solid color edge to edge). Blacks are nice and deep with no local lighting bleed; tip and bottom bars stay black during movies. Setup is easy from unpacking to on screen menu options.

Purchased this TV at the start of the month, since I was able to secure PS5 preorder and I wanted a TV with HDMI 2.1. Was originally considering the LG CX, but at more than double the cost and fear of burn-in I took a chance on this. I couldn't be anymore pleased with this TV. Last night I had the firmware update for 2.1, and I know of others who it's been rolled out to. I think this is probably the best TV on the market for it's price and what it features. Where this TV shines is gaming and streaming platforms that support 4k Ultra HD. One of the most impressive features in the snappiness of the processor in this TV, so I can flip from Netflix, Prime Video, HBO MAX to HULU instantly. Sony's UI is very intuitive as well, and significantly better than what I had on my old Samsung. Cable TV is limited to broadcast signal, so your experience will very. For example, NFL games on FOX are still 720P, while CBS appears to be 1080P, and you'll notice the difference. I think the color accuracy and brightness on this TV is excellent, and I haven't noticed any blooming or banding with my set. The only thing I wish that was better about it is the audio average at best, so I'll be looking to add a soundbar or home theater here around black Friday. Overall, incredibly impressed with what Sony is offering here in this TV at the price point, and I'm excited to see how PS5 games will look on it.

The 65" Sony X900H is a solid TV at a great price. The build quality is excellent and the picture quality is outstanding. The Android TV OS is very fast and super easy to use; I ended up ditching my Roku Streaming Stick in favor of the built-in OS. The Full Array Local Dimming works quite well with very little blooming or halo artifacts; however nothing comes close to OLED in this regard. Regardless, Sony still makes a solid TV at a compelling price point.

I bought this to replace a Samsung 65" plasma HDTV. Did not expect that 4K would be much different, but I have been very impressed with the image quality. It appears to be well constructed, and was easy to set up. The built-in apps, through Android/Google TV, are much better than expected, and I find it faster and easier to use than bothering with my Apple TV ( which is also not 4K, sadly) It has plenty of ports, and the sound quality is also surprisingly good Overall, very pleased.

The TV lost one star due to it's internal speakers. The sound, without a sound bar, is very tinny. Besides that, it is a great television. We mainly use it for movies and gaming. It's app menu is intuitive and the voice control remote makes getting to streaming services very easy. The picture is clean and crisp at all times. When watching in 4K the colors are rich and subtle reflections pop. We are VERY happy with our purchase and would absolutely recommend this television to family and friends.

Picture absolutely phenomenal on this tv. Blacks are really deep, 4k is eye popping. But, I bought this to replace a 3 yr old Sony that suddenly turned into a $2k paperweight. Improvements in technology in 3 yrs is impressive. So why does this tv suddenly reboot on its own? Or fail to communicate with my Sony 4k Blu-Ray player causing entire system to freeze, requiring me to perform a hard reboot? Hopefully it won’t be an ongoing issue. But for someone who is a longtime Sony buyer, quality control on 2 tv’s now a bit concerning.

It had been about 6 years since I had purchased a television, and I was wanting to get back into gaming since the games on PS5 look really exciting. My old television (also a Sony) was good, but there were some flaws with the picture in certain settings. The biggest one was poor performance in dark scenes. Originally I was considering an LG Oled, as Oled's will always have the best blacks. But there are just too many problems with the 2020 lg oleds. #1 is that they don't include a dolby encoder, which is a huge issue if you ever want to send a lossless signal from the television to your surround receiver. The new consoles (and new graphics cards) will support 4k resolution at 120hertz, and once the new version of android is released, 2 of the 4 hdmi ports will support all hdmi features including 4k/120, variable refresh rate, and some others. The television is great! The complaints I had with my last television regarding color banding are gone, and the overall image quality is better than I expected. The android interface is really nice, and FAST. I will mention if your room has windows facing the opposite side of the television, you might have some problems with glare. If you get a tilting or full motion mount this can really help...but since this television has features designed for the fastest possible refresh rate, it does not have the features for wide viewing angles. So people with this sorts of living rooms will end up closing the shades, or they should consider the Sony 950 line instead. The only thing I don't really like about the television is the stand. The stand elevates the television a lot higher than most other stands do. I am assuming this would be GOOD for people who want to use a soundbar directly underneath the television. But for people who don't, the stand is unnecessarily tall.

Great color out of the box, menus are fast, movies look very good in hdr. Motion in movies are great. Gaming is also very good.

I have had mixed results with this TV. For the price I got this set at picture quality and the gaming features included make this a great buy, but buggy software and infrequent updates to address issues have made for a frustrating experience. Overall I would say the pluses outweigh the negatives and if you can find this set for about 1K, its still a decent deal compared to other models, even newer ones that are on the market right now.

I am really happy with this buy, sure it's not OLED but I couldn't be happier with the picture quality. The Blacks are really good and picture gets bright when it needs to be as well as the colors really standing out. What I like the most is the upscaling that just regular HD programming seems to look much better. Yes you can't go wrong with this Sony, I highly recommend it.

I bought it in bestbuy outlet with an exceptionally low price so I am really really happy with it. The TV itself is perfect for my use: some PC/PS gaming and mostly movies and shows. It's PS5 ready, at least by the book. Nice color and HDR. Not the best with dark background with bright foreground scene. Corner black/white performance is not impressive. Make sure you know this before purchase.

This is absolutely beautiful color and detail in the picture. Also all controls are real easy and fast to work. We are really enjoying the sports as it is like being on the field, track or tennis court when we are watching it. Best Buy was really nice to deal with and we didn't have to wait a long time to have them deliver and set it up. We will be back for sure to deal with Best Buy. Anyone looking for a large screen, this can't be beat.

I am totally impressed with this television. I can’t imagine how awesome Dolby Vision is and it’s totally worth the price of admission when streaming Amazon and Netflix (which have shows in Dolby Vision). It also has the eARC and two HDMI 2.1 ports (3&4) which are for Atmos and new consoles. Totally impressed how my PS5 currently looks and plays. I would recommend this TV (I got it at 969) especially if it goes on sale again, check Black Friday.

The Sony X900H it's the perfect TV for streaming Movies & TV, the perfect place for gaming and more. The UI it's very fast and reliable, faster that any Android TV I've I had. Coming from a Hisense TV I got say this TV it's worth every penny. The stunning visuals are just beyond amazing. I cannot stress enough that this TV it's the perfect one for any gamer, since it's optimize for the PlayStation. I cannot wait to try this out when the PS5 comes!

This TV covers all the bells and whistle for me. HDR and 4K content look great on this TV. Standard definition TV on this TV looks good but blooming does occur with some programs. I went from a Plasma screen to this Sony X900H. To be honest, I wish they still made Plasma but with 4K as Plasma projects truer colors then most LCD/LED TV. However, I do give this TV high marks when watching HBO Max in Dolby Vision or HDR content.

Exellent TV overall and great speed and picture quality for video gaming

Almost a year strong and I love this TV just as much as I did the first day it arrived!! I mean what more do you need in a TV this thing has it all and for a great price!! Don't think twice about this especially if you need a TV for your PS5 this is a GAME CHANGER!!! Thank you again Best Buy great service all around and very fast shipping. Flawless!!
