Great value. Nice color.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super impressive image quality and color accuracy out of the box. You will need a sound bar or external audio system. The speakers on this TV are junk. It sounds like a little AM radio. The Android TV part is amazing. Add apps, just like a smart phone. Remote control is robust, although the buttons could be a bit more intuitive. There is a bit of reflection when viewing in a room with nearby windows, but the brightness will more than compensate. All in all, it's an amazing unit.

Excellent quality picture and colors
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is amazing, Cristal clear image but natural, we prefer the vivid color option and it is incredible the details you get on the movies, series, TV shows, etc, best of all, old movies, 40', 50' the color and the images are even better than newest movies. Sound is not bad, powerful speakers. I definetly recommend, the only issue I have had so far, remote get disconnected from the cable box once in a while , it connects thru Bluetooth.

Pretty good overall
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The good: -Picture quality (if professionally calibrated) is top notch. Believe me, spend the money to get it calibrated for your room & preferences. HUGE difference! -Aesthetics ate nice for its price range -Runs Android TV fast and smooth, very good. Almost as good as my Nvidea Shield TV box. -Easy to navigate menus The not so good: -No Sony TV app, would be nice to not have to use the crummy remote it comes with -The remote is pretty bad. I use a Harmony Hub so at least I sont have to use the remote it comes with -The TV turns on the TV speakers if your receiver is not on first before the TV and it randomly does not switch back to the receiver so I have to do it in the menu. -Preinstalled Sony apps, Come on, leave Android TV alone. The reason I use an Nvidia Shield and have been since 2015. -The built in speakers suck. But if your buying a 65" 4K TV, its probably safe to say you're not using them anyway. Overall I really like this TV and am happy I chose it over the others I was considering. Interestingly when I had it calibrated, the guy said this was the first one of this model he had done and was quite impressed with the result. He said its on par with sets costing several hundred more dollars and the calibrated picture was very impressive. Since I use an Nvidia shield I am not really concerned with software updates to the TV. That will be the downfall of this TV as well as many other brands. This is my first Sony TV. I have owned many brands over the years and have been on the "big flat screen" bandwagon since Plasma TV's first came put back in the early 2000's. In summary, I am pretty happy with this TV. Its WAY better than the top of the line 2 year old Hisense 4K I had. My friends are jealous of the picture quality and some of them have OLED sets. I think that goes to show a professional calibration is a must on a new modern 4K TV, Hope this helps someone with their TV purchase process.

A huge disappointment
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to love this tv, but it has three big problems. Post-firmware update: the tv will randomly reboot without warning. This usually happens around two times during a watch cycle (2-3 hours). Other problems that shouldn't happen with a Sony tv. Sometimes the wireless connection won't work and requires you to hard reset with tv remote. And sometimes the soundbar and tv won't produce sound -- not sure what causes this bug but only needs a quit on-offto fix. These problems are annoying and I'm past the 30 day Bestbuy return period. Buyers beware. I do not recommend this tv unless Sony releases another patch/firmware. The picture is fantastic, and the sale at BestBuy was excellent. Buy a warranty. I'm really disappointed with my Sony purchase.

Exceptional, if more expensive than the competitio
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to TVs at a lower price range that still have the same features, like 4K, HDR, etc., this Sony Bravia still stands out. The picture quality is exceptional, the native 120hz refresh rate is buttery smooth, and if you aren't watching content that was made with all of those features in mind, this TV upscales exceptionally well. Also a perfect TV for those looking to game with a PS5 or Xbox Series X.

Great 4K
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this model for its picture quality and so far it has met my expectations. The colors are nice and vibrant. I have noticed it does had a pretty bad glare but I do have a lot of natural light in my living room. To sum it up this tv has a really nice color spectrum I’ve watched a few movies in 4K new and older and they are mind blowing quality and I’m seeing details I’ve missed on movies that I have seen multiple movies ones before.

Worth The Money
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is well worth the money. I have had it for little over a year now and I have to say I couldn't be happier. It is great on picture and paired real easily with the VIZIO M-Series sound bar. It plays my PS5 very well and compliments its features. Overall great TV and would recommend this to anyone who is a big movies watcher/gamer.

Great picture, easy setup
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a TV what was "future proof" supporting HDMI 2.1 and variable refresh rates for when the next gen consoles came out. So far I'm completely satisfied with the decision to go with the X900H on its existing merits alone even before the update. The picture is great with only minor adjustments. The UI is responsive and being my first Android TV, I've been happy with setup and integration as well.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with the purchase of this tv. I had bought a Samsung RU9000 and was not happy. Returned it and got the XBR900H. This is a very sharp looking TV. I don’t use it for gaming. Just stream YouTube TV and it performs very well. Really bright. Great color. Handles motion on sporting events really well. Change over to 4K tv and it’s unbelievable. You will be very satisfied with this tv.

Best TV I've ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a must see TV for the insane image clarity. It pairs seamlessly with Sony audio system and PS5 for the ultimate experience. Go with the 65" over a 55", you'll be glad you went for that upgrade! Android TV is a nice change from the other operating systems I've been used to. It's quick and a breeze to navigate to what you need with voice control by Google.

Sony 900h
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the 900h to replace a year old Samsung that developed some LED issues. The Sony is better in every aspect. Brighter images, more color, and better 4k in general. Not sure how the Sony 900h compares to a Samsung Qled, but I was a little bitter with Samsung after the screen taking a crap so soon. The Sony uses the Android platform which I believe is better. More apps available.

Vertical banding/ other issues
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv 2 weeks ago and I’ve been experiencing some issues . 1. Vertical banding on top of the screen when there’s a clear and bright background I.e blue sky’s or a white background 2. Dirty screen effects on all 4 corners of the tv 3. Ever since I updated the new firmware update for hdmi 2.1 the tv makes a loud noise and restarts it self . Also sometimes there’s no sound coming out of my ps5 or cable box when I turn the tv on and I would have to discount the hdmi cable on the tv and reconnect it in order to work. Very disappointed with this tv . I’m in the process of having it returned and getting a refund . Best Buy support has been very helpful .

Sony 900
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched this TV and the Sony 950H ALOT and it came down to price .. it was quite a bit cheaper than the 950H and had similar reviews. I saved up for this TV and had been watching a 14 year old plasma so anything was an upgrade. However the excitement I had for it was crushed by the fact day 1 we unboxed it ..cut it on and we were waiting and seeing a black screen .. We both try to be positive and say maybe it’s warming up or it’s setting up ..it’s doing whatever it needs to do ..then we see a thin bluish white line all the way up the edge of it.. (we think because there’s so much tape around it kinda hard to tell )so at this point we’re exhausted frustrated because we’ve had to re-box the TV (Pain in butt)now we have nothing to watch and the store was closed at this point ..so next day we took off early from work and take it back and we were probably in the store for close to two hours while they inspected every nook and cranny of it and asked the same questions over and over so it made us feel like they were blaming us .. they were polite and I get it it’s an expensive purchase all I wanted to do was exchange it. Finally they tell us that we can. They offered me the geek squad protection coverage which was another couple hundred dollars and I asked if the TV still had the manufactures warranty and they said yes however because we’ve exchanged this TV we can’t bring this new TV back if there’s something wrong with it. So it’s a nice TV nice picture had to adjust sound and color a little and we had to unplug it once because it was “stuck” so that worries me a tad.

Excellent TV, near impossible to beat for price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had been looking to make the jump to 4K for a Few months now. After a lot of research I decided to give the X90H a go and I was not disappointed in anyway. The display, after property setting it up, looks amazing. I have zero banding. There is a video on YouTube that goes over the settings you will want to use by the user “CO Guy Stuff”. He goes over each setting in detail and explains why you set it up like this. Blacks levels are close to OLED and look better than QLED black levels. However QLED bets it in brightness while in HDR. The design is nice and slick. The screen is not the best at reflections, but in my case a $5 sun/window blocker fixed the issue. HDMI 2.1 features are not active yet. Sony has stated its coming this winter. This is likely because the OS is android and HDMI 2.1 is android 11 which is not released just yet. So basically Sony is at the mercy of google here. The OS is nice and fast/responsive. Being android, it supports all the streaming apps that the google app store has to offer. The TV supports Apple TV via airplay. I have not tried it as I have a stand alone Apple Tv 4K I use to stream everything. For the price I paid ($969 plus tax), it’s near impossible to bet this TV. It’s a lot of TV for the money. I don’t see how any one could be disappointed with this TV unless they didn’t take the time to it is up correctly or if they got a lemon.

Great value for pairing with PS5
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent value for the money at the typical sale price around $1000! This was a replacement for me of an older Sony 4K that didn't have HDR. I didn't think I was missing much without the HDR but I was wrong! It helps the picture pop so much better. This TV is also a great companion to the PS5! The TV remote can control the console and the games have never looked better!

Best TV I have purchased thus far
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took advantage of a deep Labor Day sale and I am not disappointed. Shopping for TVs can be such a daunting task based on information provided and how much research you are left to find on your own. Though it was the discount that swayed me towards this TV, I found the ease of the set up and calibration is what gave me confidence in knowing I made an excellent choice. I am now experiencing the richest colors, brightest whites, and deepest blacks I have ever seen previously. My only gripe is that I notice faint signs of color banding in a couple of video games during certain conditions that can momentarily break the immersion. The banding is not always present but gets picked up during certain in-game lighting moments. HZD looked perfect in all weather patterns except when storm clouds rolled in where I noticed the banding in the clouds. Ghost of Tsushima is utterly amazing. The sunrise on the horizon now looks real on this TV. On streaming services, I have only experienced color banding when the TV doesn't display in HDR. For some reason, Disney+ doesn't register the HDR even on content that supports it. Hopefully, this issue will be picked up in a firmware update. In The Last Jedi, I used the red from Snoke's throne room as a test where the banding was horrible. Again, the TV was not displaying HDR. With Netfix and Hulu, I haven't found any examples of color banding yet.
