The Wi-Fi had trouble staying connected but after buying a Wi-Fi extender and plugging it directly into Ethernet, I don’t have anymore issues. Secondly in order to get 4K 60FPS, the tv does not display this resolution by default, you have to turn it on in the settings. After working that out, the tv shows my movies and video games with a beautiful resolution!!!!

Fantastic 65", amazing quality, better than before

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Aside from all the obvious reasons why this is a 12 out of 10, here are a few things to consider: - if you use youtubetv or hulu live or sling, know that there's no shortcut button on the remote (i've pressed the "tv" button a few times which is just a shortcut to an hdmi input). so youll still have to navigate through the home screen to get to one of your preferred streaming channels (like 3 steps) - it was a bit thicker in width than i expected, minor details - bezel is incredibly minimal, but the bottom has the slightest different in bezel with maybe like 0.1 inches more than the other edges, again minor details other than that, it's beautiful and i can't take my eyes off it.

My SO and I recently moved and put our beloved bedroom TV in the living room. We missed having a TV in the bedroom so much that we started shopping for a new TV within a couple of months of buying our house. Out of the box, it took very few adjustments to get this TV going. Brightness is great in our bedroom which has two windows on the wall adjacent and image quality is stunning. at $1400 this TV is great! At $999 (Black Friday pricing) this TV is a no-brainer. Buy this TV, you will not be disappointed!

The wide angle film on the screen created several rainbow halos for every tiny light source that it reflected. It made it difficult to watch. It didnt even feel like a Sony...it was just too glossy I went to the store and compared the reflections and the X900H was much better. I bought it and I was blown away by just how good it is. If you have liked Sony in the past, this IS IT!

I watched a few YouTube videos on recommended calibration settings that walk you right through getting the best possible picture. very easy to do. Also, the sound is fantastic on this set and I have a full 5.1 surround sound system on a different set. If this is anything like my past Sony TV's, I am gonna be VERY happy!!! BTW... I used to be a Home Theater Supervisor for Best Buy and LOVE TV's and Audio!

It outdoes similar from Samsung which we also own. Between Sony and Samsung there are some hit and misses. For example, we cannot run spectrum app on the tv itself but can with samsung. However, we can chrome cast it. To me that is a bit silly. We would have bought another of these this year but the extra cost on new modle isn't worth the extra money as not much changed. If you can find this older model, go for it instead to save some cash.

Good Value for a 65"

Android TV is easy to get used to and is fluid. I had issues with my first unit immediately (WiFi refused to turn on, stuff behind the display in the top left corner making it look dead, optical out wasn't working correctly). The new unit is much better. In regards to screen quality, there is a noticeable amount of vignetting in the corners. DSE is minimal on my unit. The colors do seem relatively dull when compared to the X950H as it doesn't have that "pop" or "wow" factor, but is good for the money. Blooming is noticeable. I counted 16 local dimming zones and while the algorithm is good, don't be fooled by others that compare it to an OLED. I have a B7 and it's no where close, nor should your expectations. It gets very bright and I have no issues fighting glare in a bright room.

You definitely need to upgrade to a blu-ray player and upgrade your netflix to blu-ray to get the most out of this television. I kept my old surround system that is 15 years old but has awesome subwoofer. Tech recommended and appreciated the honesty. Spend the money on the tv and wait for the sound system to go later on down the road. They didnt think I could use my JBL blue tooth headphones but they link perfectly with this tv. No need for alternate head phones.

I game with the TV using a Xbox Series X and it is great. At this time I have 4K @ 120Hz and Dolby vision. The coming firmware will be ALLM and VRR. Sony does it right so I am confident in the upcoming upgrade. I did not go the OLED route for 2 reasons. First I live in Florida and have very brightly lit rooms. Second I fall asleep several times a week watching TV and don't want to worry about burn in.
