Beautiful picture but audio is a problem

Sometimes it's garbled, but most of the time it is out of sync with the video. I have researched online and changed settings, tried different HDMI's, Firestick and Roku. But continue to have issues. I have it hooked up to a Samsung Blu-Ray that worked fine on my old TV. I am even bypassing the Blu-Ray player and using TV sound only. Hoping I can figure this out soon.

We do apologize for the inconvenience. Have you tried playing a different HDMI device or source like cable box, PlayStation or just the Netflix or Youtube app to isolate the issue? If the audio issue occurs on all sources, please power reset the unit, simply unplug the unit and wait 1-2 minutes then plug the device back in and power on.
If power reset doesn't work, update the TV software. A firmware update improves the functionality and features of your device. It can provide fixes to any performance issues that may occur. Check the link below on how to.

Got the last one, well worth every penny. Perfect for my ps5 and series X. Pictures look amazing and i cant wait for more firmware update. Made tge perfect choice for gaming. I was thinking of getting the 75inch but instead i can settle for the 65inch. Most likely i will get a bigger tv once 8k becomes main stream. No issues with tv, this tv is solid!

The salesman in Dewitt for the new tv was excellent also. The Geeks programmed all the remotes the picture and sound of Sony TV is great

Bought for new console generation as it checks all the boxes and it also provides an excellent picture, rivaling TV's that cost hundreds more. I game a lot so OLED is not a good choice For me, replacing a faulty Samsung Q8FN that was nothing but trouble from the start. Hopefully the firmware update is out before I get my new gaming machine.

Need some help with this amazing TV

No audio for some. Everything plays but just no audio. Also, when it doesn’t have audio and nothing is playable at all. Just a black screen. I let it rest, nothing happens. I unplugged it for 30 min. Then it started to act normal. However it isn’t that easy at times. I’ll plug it and play something, no audio. Other times, everything will be deleted, you have to start up the tv just like when you first bought it, connect to WiFi, install app, change any setting you had prior, etc.... so that gets annoying. Those are the only issues ive had. Maybe just a lemon. This is my first Sony tv, so not a good first exp. I do love this tv. Movies are incredible, gaming is pretty nice. Easy to take out the box, I have more good things to say than bad, just this specific tv is a no go. I know Sony is a pretty good company, so I hope someone can reach out to me to see what my options are.

Determine the best picture. I was originally going to buy Samsung until I saw this :Sony and U was sold. The colors jump right off the screen and it is very stylish with the thin frame. Great picture, audio sync issues

Upscaling is not really an improvement from my 6 year old LG, but that seems to be true with most I looked at. Our only issue thus far, is the audio synchronizing with the video. At times it is off by several seconds. Changing channels seems to temporarily fix the problem, but it returns. Using my audio system helps with the issue. It is definitely more pronounced when using the TV speakers.

The issue you are having can be fixed by updating the software of the TV to the latest version (v6.0466 - released February 23, 2021). The software includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements. Please make sure that your TV is connected to the internet and the Automatic Software Update setting is set to On to keep the software updated to the most current version. Has a decent amount of customization to fit your needs. Has the updates for ps5 and 4K display at 120 FPS. The sound from the tv isn’t the top of the line, but it can make due until you are able to get a sound bar or something to improve the sound quality, other than that it’s an amazing TV especially for the price and of you can find it and on a sale week.

I use it for gaming and movies. It enhances your surround sound greatly. Games and movies are loud. Picture is awesome also. Everything looks great. It’s worth the buy but no matter what always purchase the geek squad protection for a large purchase like this just in case. No issues and the smart app function is good also.

I previously had another Sony 65” TV that was top of the line at its time. The vibrant colors of this new set makes the old Sony look ancient. The remote control replaces the Dish Network remote which was a first for me. Color is excellent and the only item I’d say wasn’t top quality would be the speakers. Sound quality it okay, not great.
