    This replaced a 15 yr old plasma and couldn’t be happier. Has a great picture and love watching sports and movies on it. This I my second Sony television purchase. WiFi connection was simple and works great for streaming.

    Great tv for gaming. With multiple updates put out by Sony has made the tv worth the price. PS5 games look incredible with the 120 hz update....for the games that support it. The ease of navigating apps is also a plus.

    Really nice TV, and I am happy with it. Had some stuttering in the picture when I routed the hdmi through my Pioneer Elite (older) receiver. I corrected this by running the hdmi directly from the cable box. Great picture now!

    I love this TV. If you have a PS5, this is the perfect TV without going OLED or spending extra for the X950. Unfortunately I had to return it due to a defect. I will be getting it again in a possibly bigger size.

    This tv looks amazing when streaming from the tv and my Xbox Series X. Dolby vision and Dolby sound and atmos are great for gaming and movies. Plenty of options when it comes to calibrating it the way you want to watch and view.

    This is a phenomenal TV. I usually game on a 1MS monitor so switching to this was very noticeable in regards to input lag. However, I didn’t buy this specifically for gaming. great tv all around.

    It is a decent TV after 1 year of use but do not buy it for gaming purposes as still after 1 year the VRR does not function properly and its a chipset issue and will never be right. Picture is pretty decent overall but the screen shows reflections really bad and the silver trim around the outter edge was a poor decisions as it shows fairly brightly and can be quite distracting. Final review is to find a better TV as mine is having major issues with its backlight and will be getting returned for a better TV

      In the meantime, we’ve recently released a firmware upgrade with the following benefits and improvements:
      Adds features to enhance PlayStation®5 (PS5™) performance
      Improves the HDR feature
      Adds support for Auto Genre Picture Mode
      Adds support for the Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) feature
      Improves general performance of the TV.

    Perfect picture, a joy to play a PS5 on. Only issue is that sound quality is fine, but not excellent, so you may want to purchase a sound system too if you're looking for a fully immersive experience.

    I haven't had a Sony since my trinitron over 20 years ago. This is an AMAZING TV with a phenomenal picture, tons of HDMI inputs etc. I did my research vs Samsung Q90 and LG's and would highly reccommend this SONY X900H!!!

    November Firmware Update Ruined the X900h

    ** Buyer Beware** TL;DR -- Avoid this TV because of numerous technical issues due to broken firmware update that arrived in November. This product came highly recommended both from professional outlets and 'boots on the ground' reviewers from websites like Reddit, I was extremely excited to purchase the device as it was widely viewed as a 'slam dunk' choice in its price range. Several features (HDMI 2.1, eARC, 4K120, VRR) were not available at the time of purchase but the fine print said they would all arrive via Firmware update, which I did not see as a big deal. That firmware update arrived in November and has basically ruined the TV. Numerous sound problems (audio hitching, silence, glitches, etc), random restarts, and picture quality issues now plague this TV. (Worth nothing that VRR has also still not arrived as of this review on 1/21/21). Most of these problems could in theory be fixed by another firmware update, but will they? Google 'X900h issues reddit' and you'll find that I am only one of many, many people that are experiencing these problems. If you want a Sony TV, hold out and wait to purchase the X90J, which has already been announced and will likely fall into the same price range. If I was a betting man, I would say that this TV will remain broken and the fixes will likely be applied to the next iteration.

    It’s a great tv but the streaming apps on it don’t act well. Streaming devices are fine but for some reason the apps on the tv itself act weird when streaming. Awesome gaming tv if Sony comes thru with vrr and allm for it in future update

Some of these issues can be fixed by simply restarting the TV. To do that, simply press and hold the Power button while the TV is on until Restart appears on the TV screen, and then press Enter to restart it. Also, to make sure your TV runs as smooth as possible, we highly recommend downloading and installing the latest software for the TV.

    Good screen quality, the new Xbox series x and ps5 work with the hdmi 2.1 but if you connect either to a headset and disconnect your headset the sound on the tv will cut out , and you will need to restart the tv for the sound to come back on.

    Picture is great. But there is a white flash every few minutes on the screen. I have done a software update and it still did not fix it. Also the tv will get locked up and turn off and come back on.
