First wouldn't hold or convert the cable service signal format. Then started the dreaded random shut downs. All okay then it cycles off . . . . then back on. Some times back on but without sound. Two days of calls to get through, and Sony runs me thru a number of steps, verifies Ver of software and finally a hard reboot. Which seemed to work . . . . for a few days. Then back to random off and on and some with no sound. And back to Sony, which after listening to all my troubleshooting attempts, and doing a few more tasks, agreed to replace it. Sony would have someone contact me via email to arrange the replacement. That was about 10 dys ago . . still waiting. Now the set does a loud buzzzzz and shuts off, randomly every one or two days. Sometimes the sound comes back, sometimes not . . . which requires a hard reboot to get sound back. And after reading the fine Sony print warranty I could end up with a used refurbished unit as a replacement :( BUT . . . . . GREAT PICTURE !

Good tv with problems

However there are a couple of negatives thst takes the rating down. 1. Dark shadows on the corners are very visible with clear colors on the screen. 2. Only 16gb of usable storage memory. 3. Sony update to support vrr, allm, qms, qft not available yet. 4. It's android 9 and not 11. 5. Only two hdmi 2.1 ports. 6. Tv sporadically turns off by itself even with all of the remote control options off.
