I wait 10 seconds, try again and it comes on. Hoping a firmware update will fix it.

Sometimes my soundbar has audio cut outs every couple of minutes and I have to restart the TV to resolve. Also, a recent update made the google tv menu harder to use.

Thank you for your feedback on your experience using our X900H. We're sorry to hear about the audio cuts out issue with this X900H. Please check the connected devices and verify the connections. To isolate the sound issue, follow this procedure if the TV speakers don't produce sound or sound skips. Check the TV speakers after each step.
1. If you are using the TV built-in speaker, make sure the sound output is set to TV speakers and not Audio system
Press the (Quick Settings) or ACTION MENU button, then select [Speakers] — [TV speakers].
Press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Audio output] — [Speakers] — [TV speakers].
2. Check the volume control.
3. Press MUTING or MUTE or VOL or (Volume) + button to cancel muting.
4. If headphones or Bluetooth audio devices are connected, sound is not output from the TV speakers or audio system connected via eARC/ARC. Remove the headphones or disconnect the Bluetooth audio device.

Most of the time tv is turned on, the sound does not come on. Have to do a manual reset, holding the power on for a few seconds to restart the system. Switched to the optical connection and so far sound works, but the image is of lesser quality. Anyone with this issue? Thinking of returning and going back to Samsung! Expected better.

We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing some audio issues. We’d love to help you troubleshoot your problem by isolating your sources and understanding your connections. In the meantime, we’ve recently released a firmware upgrade to address some of the sound issues. Please make sure to try that first as well by going to Help > System Software update > Software Update.

Good TV, but too big for my wife

I ordered a 55 inch 950h to replace it. I would have kept this TV if not overrided by the wife.
