Love this tv as I bought it when it first came out 7 months ago. All of a sudden the HDMI ports stopped working and wouldn't read any of my HDMI cables. After spending 4 1/2hrs on the phone with Sony tech support they couldn't fix. This is more of a frustration with Sony's customer support. Rather than give me a new tv since it was less than a year old they told me they had to order a new part which would take 2 business days and then after the part comes in a tech support person would call me within 3 to 5 business days to make an appointment. This means I won't be able to watch this tv for over a week. This to me is a ridiculous policy as I have to suffer for them selling me a defective product. Especially with the cost of this tv. Rather than do the right thing Sony just lost a customer going forward.

An incredible piece of technology at an incredible price perfect for games and movies. The dark contrast is incredible and I love this :)

Great features... high def streaming... no expert on TVs but my Samsung pales in comparison to my 2 Sony TVs... happy with this purchase thus far...

I owned the Z9F for 7 days. Had issues with vertical pixels showing colors throughout panel when viewing.The blacks were also bad. I exchanged for a Samsung Q90R it has a excellent anti glare panel, and the black levels don’t look gray.Sony you can do better this is not a master series TV!

The best tv I have ever owned. I’m a gamer and with the PlayStation it’s a perfect combination.

This Sony TV is everything you expect in a Sony. Bright colors, unbelievable resolution and very thin.

I was enjoying this Sony TV which I picked up at Best Buy back in December 2019 ( part of a Pacific Kitchen Sales reward). Then this last Monday, August 30th it would not come on. The Xfinity box in same circuit was working fine as I tested it with another TV. This Sony would not turn on period. Not from the back controls, not after unplugging and waiting, not by plugging on another working outlet. Nope...dead only after 20 months of use and out of warranty. May be I got the one lemon, but warranty wise Sony is free and clear. Anybody want a 65 inch paper weight? Definitely do not recommend. My existing three (3) Samsungs are still going strong after four (4) years, but my only Sony is dead. Guess what brand I will be buying next!

I've only had this TV for about two weeks, so please keep that in mind. I do, however, own the Sony 65X930E and the Sony 55X930E (both are 2017 models). Amazing sets in their own right. Here's how the Z9F compares.... Overall picture quality has been improved in every category. You need to see it too believe it! OMG! I'm not a gamer, but motion appears to be vastly improved. The Android TV platform finally works as it should. Fast, smooth, and very responsive. Worlds better than on my 2017 models (what took you so long engineering/software department?!!). The viewing angle for this set is unreal. Best of any LED set I've ever seen. Sit at the furthest angle and the picture will look amazing. Bravo to Sony engineers for this feature! The sound is what you'd expect from a high-end flatscreen. Just okay. You'll want something better. The remote is my least favorite part of this TV. Sony needs to upgrade, fast! I use Logitech Harmony remotes. Love them. Dedicated picture settings for Netflix content. That's new. I'm not impressed and prefer my own settings to Sony's. All four HDMI inputs are now full bandwidth. And lots more bells & whistles, just as you would expect from a top-of-the-line set. Too many to mention here, but Best Buy lists them all as does Sony on its website. I also own the 75Q9FN Samsung (2018). I've had the sets side by side and the only difference in picture quality I could see was that the peak brightness on the Samsung was a little higher than the Sony Z9F. Most of the time you wouldn't even be watching at that level but I thought it might be helpful to point out. I'm sure some people will be looking at both flagship sets. I love them both but prefer the Sony. I tried LG's best OLED for 2017, have not tried the Sony OLED's. All my rooms are very bright. OLED was a huge disappointment. I do not need perfect blacks, and I do not want to watch TV in a really dark room all the time. LED TV's will always have some issues like blooming and light bleed, but Sony seems to have minimized those issues to the point of not being a concern. The blacks on the Z9F look amazing! Bottom line: The Sony Z9F is best TV I've ever owned. No matter what content you're watching, from standard definition all the way up to 4K, this TV will deliver!! Wow factor included!! The picture is absolutely beautiful and stunning. The Master Series name fits this TV perfectly. I'm blown away by the picture quality every single time I turn on the Z9F. Congrats, Sony! Well done!!
