Bad Quality - LCD screen went out after 2 1/2 yrs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased Sony 70" 4K TV from best buy in May 2015 and paid 3K for it at the time. I purchased the Sony as I have had many Sony TV and after 15 years are still running great. This 70 in however after 2 1/2 years got a green vertical line. I had a technician come out and they told me it can't be fixed. It's not any of the boards (t-con, driver, etc). It's the actual LED's on the screen that went out and now causing a green line. I paid extra for Sony brand thinking I'm getting better quality. I have contacted Sony Customer Relations and they have basically told me my warranty was up after a year and they won't do anything about it. I will no longer purchase any Sony products as I am very disappointed in quality of products they are making these days.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony 70” is very crisp and sharp, although some clouding or ghosting is noticeable on all black loading screens , or very dark screens backgrounds. Remote is basic but fast, tv tuner changes channels quickly . Great speakers , peapple think there is a sound bar behind it. Over for price paid a solid value , great picture. Sure, spend 2x and get a better panel , but consider the price point is excellent for the 4K, hdr, fast AC wireless , and zero dead pixels. If a 70” is your limit based on furniture or room, great purchase (assuming is lasts). This review is 60 days from purchase.
