The receiver was a decent purchase. It was user friendly if you have some idea of wiring. Sound is good and price was decent.

I needed a simple 4K pass through avr for my gaming center and this fit the bill. Paired it with an energy 5.1 system and the Xboxs and PS4 sound great.

Setup was very easy and the receiver sounded good. However I want a receiver that switched between components a little faster

It was awesome receiver, fits my budget, paired with Dayton b652 and Polk psw10 sub... It is just perfect and so good! I totally recommend.

I mainly got this so I could connect all my video equipment (PS3, PS4, cable, Wii) to something and not have to switch my TV input and old receiver input all the time. My old receiver only had one optical input, so only one of components could be true surround. This makes it simple. TV stays on the same input, receiver controls all my components via HDMI and all are true surround. Sound isn't any different than my old one, but well worth it just for simplicity.

It's a great stereo with a great price, it was very easy to set up. The delivery was prompt. I bought a set of speakers for it and it sounds great.

Was looking for a replacement of my old Sony system. Found this one on sale and could not beat the price. Setup was easy and unit sounds awesome.

I spent a lot of time researching receivers, unless you are going to spend a lot of money, I recommend this product. The advertised 725 Watts is misleading because each speaker is getting much less than that. My Sony is hooked up to a Samsung TV and Comcast Cable Box. It is more than adequate for my needs, reasonable, $149 at Best Buy and simple to use for surround mode. Mine connected to Bose 301 front speakers, Bic America center speaker, Klipsch surround and Bic America sub woofer.

This is a great receiver from SONY. All the features you want and the power too.it was on sale so that helped too. Easy hook up and enjoying it now

Ease of use and it packs a punch for a smaller I unit we put it in a large banquet hall for stereo and hooking into our projector works great

Super easy setup + speaker output calibration (via included microphone). Probably too much for a smaller rooms, but great sound nevertheless.

Bought this for my fathers living room and it had enough power to push his Polk surround sound and have crystal clear sound. Excellent product.

Nice pass thru features and very easy to set up. The sound pushed to the rear speakers is well balanced.

Paired with a Epson 2045 Home Cinema projector and a Definitive Technology - ProCinema 600 5.1-Channel Home Theater Speaker System and a 10 foot screen, the whole system came in under $1.5K, including Geek Squad installation. That's cheaper then a years worth of driving to a movie theater, seating with the great unwashed..... and it has a pause button for natures calls.
