Works great but I could use more power for what I bought it for

Wanted to upgrade my Sony receiver and got the best price I've seen Sounds great

i got this to replace an age old onkyo receiver I had. setup was easy, although i recommend banana plugs to make it even easier. Auto calibration was accurate just did some minor tweaks to turn bass down a little bit.

Everything turned out great just wished they had the remote

For the money that I spent on this purchase I could not be more satisfied. It was not the most expensive one in the store but I consider it a wise purchase for the quality sound I receive at a great price. Thanks Best Buy!

I purchased this receiver for a secondary movie room to attach multiple devices to the single tv. The device is great for that purpose, and it will provide for future upgrade to 4K as well. I have had many Sony receivers, and this one is as good as the others.

For the price point of this receiver, it is pretty decent. I still have been unable to get a Sony Blu Ray player to pass through it but everything else works just fine. I will update when I get it working as to what fixes it.

I replaced an older reciever that didn't have hdmi inputs. This reciever is perfect for my needs. Sound quality is great. My only negative is the number of speaker inputs. My old one had 2 more,other than that it's great.

You can comfigure through you tv. Ive had 2 yamaha receivers in the past. This sony is bar far way better. This was an open box. Ill bet someone couldnt figure out how to program the receiver so I got it for $175. Normally $200 on sale. Great sound, love it.

Easy to use and set up, at least for anyone familiar with electronics. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that it does not have blue tooth, that being said it has a port on the front that will control your phone .

If you have 5.1 or 5.2 (double subwoofer) home theater setups, this receiver is ideal for use with 4K televisions, 4K blu ray players, and the top end Sony and Microsoft consoles. Setup was easy, and I've been very pleased with my first 2 months of use.

Replacing a 20 year old Sony amplifier, great sound and matches up nicely with the advances in technology. My home theater is now as good as my experience in the movie theaters, and I can enjoy it while relaxing in the comfort of my home.

This receiver allowed me to connect excellent old Bose speakers to a new blue ray player, an old Bose boom box, Roku, and the Comcast cable. Now we have wonderful sound for everything! It was a little confusing to set up, but we finally figured it out.

I only have hooked this up once so far but it appears to work fine with the separate speakers and subwoofer that I had purchased. Loud enough, basic to setup. Controls are nothing too fancy. The 4 HDMI inputs are nice.

I got my mom this receiver for Christmas because she complained how the sound from her TV wasn't loud. Well now that she hooked her gift up, she loves it. She even plays music from the receiver when she cleans the house. Best gift ever.

I've had this receiver for a couple of months now and I have to say it sounds pretty amazing. The surround sound comes through very crisp and clear. Choose a nice set of speakers and a sub, and it should be good enough. Packs a punch.
