At first I had an issue with setting it up as a stereo... but once I found the online manual, I just connected it to my tv with a HDMI cable and set it up. Sounds great and the remote even works my iphone when connected via the USB port!

For the price might sound cheap. But this recover is packed with options and great sound. No Bluetooth but I have Apple TV so I don't car. It's a little tricky to get the speakers set up so sub plays correctly . I am very happy with my purchase

The products are a good quality name brand. What really sold me was the Best Buy folks who helped me put everything together, My last three electronic purchases have been at Best Buy because of their prople.

Great receiver. Easy to set up and operate. This receiver did not have Bluetooth built in, however was approx. $150 less than the next comparable receiver that did. I purchased a separate Bluetooth streamer and receiver and it works perfectly.

The auto-calibrate feature for sound levels is a nice thing to have.

Sony makes a great amplifier as well as other home electronics. I wanted the amplifier with AV pass through and this fits the bill. Sounds fantastic with 5,2 channel stereo surround.

Sounds great. Considering the price I paid it was a steal. The controls are not user friendly and the documentation is the worst i have ever seem.

Bought my son a TV and he was unsure about the receiver to pair it with. I'm very pleased with the guys at Best Buy that fully explained the benefits of this model. My son has the system setup & the quality of sound is out of this world.

Features on this receiver are incredible. I replaced my out dated Sony receiver with this one. The clearity, sports and movie effects are awesome. Selecting Stadium, it really sounds like you are there! Love it and the price was right!!!

This is a very nice receiver for the money. My only complaint is the lack of Bluetooth but I bought it for a secondary 5.1 surround setup and it is perfect for that. I'm very impressed with the sound and it does it's job very well.

I finally upgraded my old receiver since it doesn't have all the inputs that the newer ones have. But most importantly is that the old one used 70-90 Watts at normal listening levels. Over an hour of watching a movie it was outputting 124 degrees of heat. This newer unit is drawing around 40Watts at the same volume level - downside is that HDMI passthrough draws just as much power so no reason to not have it on when watching the TV. As for sound, it's a big downgrade. This one's a bit tinny and because of the limited control you can't get it just right. But at $150 I'm happy. I don't watch a lotta TV but don't wanna have to turn on my AC upstairs just to watch TV in the winter. This little Sony fit the bill.

Had all the connections I needed to accommodate my components.

Easy to set up. Quick start instructions are OK. Auto speaker set up didn't work that great. But went to wed site in instructions followed them and did a manual setup. Wow works great.

Was looking for an amp to replace my Pioneer that I had for a long time (it didn't;t have HDMI connectors slots) but I have been a Pioneer fan for a long time. Well this amp appeared, on sale, and had the right connectors so it was a no brainer. Well torn the pioneer down and hooked up the Sony. Oh there was no manual except a quick started paper. I couldn't get anything to work and was tied, knees sore, and in desperation I took it apart and went back to my pioneer and the sony is back inuits box in the closet.

The receiver omplimented my mirage sepaker system. With an added sub woofer, the system more than meets my expectations. I gave this system to a friend who is now throughly enjoying it.

I use this receiver in a small family room mostly for listening to TV. I sought out the pass-through feature yet never use it since the TV sounds so much better. It's plenty powerful for my needs.
