This is a very good entry level A/V receiver. One of the things I like about it is the simplicity to set up. Easy menus. Another great thing is that it has posts to connect all wires. You can wire it with banana plugs. For this price a great feature. Makes it easy to wire and is easily accessible. It has 4 HDMI inputs which is great at this price point.

Great receiver for the price it’s very loud crystal clear returned an Onkyo and have had Sony for years they were bad but they’re back on top again

Works perfectly for my house. I use it purely for surround sound as I have a Roku tv that is sending sound through an optical audio cable to this.

This receiver produces excellent sounds if it is connected to new units; however, if you will have a hard time with it if you intend to have it connect to older units because even though it has several HDMI inputs, it has only one optical input and doesn't have any S-video inputs. Other than that, it is a really inexpensive, good receiver.

This is an entry level receiver obviously, but its no slouch. It pushes my Polk R40s, and a feeds my sub for great sound. I was a bit disappointed at first with the settings being on screen only but it wasn't too bad to set up. Just connected it with HDMI once for the speaker setup and channel levels. You CAN still adjust overall volume and sound modes on the receiver itself.

Connected to JBL 5 speaker surround sound system, 2 pc towers & ipod and still lots of room to grow. Sound is awesome! Pros - Easy set up, lots of ports, great sound, ease of use, quiet operation (no loud fans like my old one) Cons - not Bluetooth compatible & makes a loud clunk when turning on and off

This receiver / surround sound amplifier is awesome! It has a lot of different inputs for virtually anything you might want to hook up to it, and it has 5 channel output. It produces 750 watts of output, has on screen programming and a whole host of other features. I am absolutely happy with my purchase. Coupled with some good speakers it has superb sound quality.

The receiver is easy to use, sounds good and has a nice amount of connections, i actually have a converter box, ps4,roku, and a projector hooked to it, just wish the rca imputs would display through the hdmi out, but they dont, i had to but an adapter to plug the rca imputs and convert them to hdmi to plug into the receiver

I was skeptical at first, but once we figured it out, it works pretty good. Haven't had any problems as of yet.

Bought a Harmon Kardon surround sound speaker set with sub woofer. Had it all hooked up and watching a movie in an hour. Sounds great.

very good product - good sound and easy to setup. the mic to auto config the surround didn`t work for me but I do prefer to make the adjustments one by one so didn't miss that. Also, connecting to Xbox One to have a full control using the Xbox is not working properly.. xbox is able to turn off... but not turning on...

This received is easy to operate, looks sharp and is multi-functional. We hooked it up to some Klipsch speakers and our new 60" Sharp TV. One button turns on tv, box, and this receiver. It really thumps. If you are thinking about running your tv thru exterior speakers this is the go between that makes it work. Very happy with purchase.

Sony always makes a great product and this doesn't disappoint at all. You will love how it makes any home theater sound amazing!

Works great, works good for the price. Menu is a bit basic though.

Great remote and easy set-up. Not an audiophile, but LOVE to enjoy a theater experience from my movies. I have a regular living room, 5 Klipsch speakers and a Bose Acoustimas woofer. Plenty of power to keep the ceiling fan dusted (LOL). 5.2 is nice...added an Infinity subwoofer for great 5.2 sound experience.

Great receiver stylistically the design aspects are great in form and function, the sound quality is great in my opinion but I'm also not experienced enough to say for sure. User friendly set up everything is pretty straight forward. There are better receivers on the market but don't miss out on a great one this will do in a pinch

I don't have a house big enough to accommodate a 7.2 system so I purchased this and used the current 5.1 speakers I have...wow! Sounds great!
