Absolutely impressed with my new Sony 75” 4K tv. Color, clarity and ease of set up and operation is all I hoped. Have only had it about a month but plan on years of satisfaction because I purchased a 5 year protection plan to assure this. Can’t wait for more 4K broadcasting and streaming to really test the 4K

I was originally comparing the MU8000 series to the 850E in the store. The salesman pointed me towards this one. It looked like the upgrade in picture was easily worth the money so I purchased this set. The only things that aren't great is the remote has to be pointed to the center of the TV to work. The andriod based operating system can be a little slow sometimes and it doesn't work with Iphone. The price is now $2499. If you can get it for that and want a premium 75" this is the best deal until next black friday.

After doing an extensive review of 4k HDR TVs, I chose this model from Sony. I was not disappointed. The value is compelling versus OLED. The picture is bright; the colors natural. Only small downside was Android TV operating system which is clunky when compared to LG system.

This is the best TV I've ever owned. The picture is stunning. My bluray movies have never looked better. Always been a Sony guy and replaced a 2014 Model which had a superb picture, but this was definitely worth the upgrade for HDR, and picture quality.

I'd just moved into a new apartment and wanted to set up the living room to deliver a great home theater experience. With that in mind I decided to buy a new television (upgrading from a 52" Sony). I loved this TV in the store. The picture looked great. But I ended up going home with the 65" LG OLED (C7P). Beautiful TV but the 65" wasn't delivering the experience I was after. It just seemed like a bigger than normal TV. So I took it back and got this Sony. Now THAT'S what I'm talking about. I sit about 8 feet from the TV. Viewing it is not overwhelming but it does give you the sense of a movie screen, unlike the 65". The picture is extremely good when watching things like PS Vue or HBO Now. Put in a blu-ray (I watched the new Transformers) and holy smokes! I was blown away by the clarity and color. That's playing out of a standard PS4. It looked un-believable. I don't know enough about the tech to tell you if it's upscaling or not. The smart TV aspect of this Sony is what made me rate it a 4 rather than a 5. While the apps selection is pretty much all that you'd want, the interface is in need of a major overhaul. It's clunky and slow. If you use PS Vue, run it from the PS4 rather than the TV's app. Navigation on the PS4 is literally like using a cable modem after using the TV app which is like having dial up. Overall this TV scores a major victory if you're like me and are after the home theater movie night experience rather than daily TV viewing (though it still looks great). It's a phenomenal TV for the price.

Upscale regular HD programming, especially enhances live sports programming. Easy to use, even for a 70 year old person, especially with Geek squad installation. Guys even willing to return after installation to improve sound. Great buy.

This tv is amazing. The picture is bright, the blacks are very dark and the refresh rate is fast. You never get to see broadcast tv in the showroom but I was very happy when I first turned it on at home. It’s a pleasure to watch.

This new TV is fantastic. I originally purchased the 65" model but it was too small for our wall, so we exchanged it for the 75". The picture is awesome. The colors are so bright and just pop off the screen. Highly recommended.

I purchased this TV to replace my 55" LG OLED, only because I wanted something larger. I love that TV but didn't think 55" was big enough for the movie room. Unfortunately they only make the OLED's up to 65" and they are also way more expensive. I ended up with the 75" X900E after much research and watching prices. Got a great deal on this TV by waiting until Superbowl sales in the 2nd half of January. My first impression was that the user interface was a little bit clunky. Picture was good but motion seemed to lag or skip a little bit. Also noticed a weird issue that would happen when switching on the PS4. Right when entering a game. the TV would shut off and had to be restarted. I discussed with Best Buy customer service and they were prepared to replace the TV immediately - Great response and customer service. Luckily I reached out to Sony as well and they said they knew of the issue and it was a software problem that would be fixed in an update. They also told me how to change the PS4 settings to keep the issue from happening again and it has not been an issue since. I also updated the TV settings per the optimal from Rtings.com and the motion lag went away immediately. Overall, I'm very happy with the TV now but had to work through a couple issues at first. I think the LG smart TV interface wins hands down. The convenience of the LG TV remote pointer system makes operating the TV effortless. The Sony smart TV interface is fine too, just not as good after having an LG. Great TV, excellent picture, and affordable in the 75" size. Just check for the right settings on Rtings.com. If prices ever come down on LG OLED's, would probably go that route next.

This thing is a monster! It is also fantastic! Make sure you have at least 8 feet from the TV to where you'll be sitting. If you are too close, cable broadcasts at lower def can look pixely. 10 feet viewing distance is probably optimal. The picture looks great and when using it for video games on Xbox 1s, it's outstanding! Streaming is very crisp as well. The onscreen navigation can have a little lag, but nothing to get worried about. The one down side is that the TV I have is my second of the same model. The first one was a defect and would black out the screen randomly. Best Buy exchanged the TV within the return period without issue and the replacement unit is without defects and beautiful.

I was apprehensive about spending this much on a TV, but i feel it was worth it. Everytime I watch it, something about the picture blows me away. White whites, rich colors, and inky blacks. Great TV!

Great tv overall. performance and design is all good. Yes it's a LG oled panel but optimized the Sony way and its upscaling is the best out there. Great picture quality. I say buy it

After discussing the Sony and Samsung tvs with the Best Buy staff, we decided on the Sony. This TV has outstanding picture quality and everything you could want in a smart tv.

Have purchased Sony TV's and products in the past and have always been happy with them. This 75" TV was no exception. The picture quality was excellent and the sound quality was a vast improvement over another brand of TV that it replaced. Works very well with my game systems and other peripherals. Have had it for about a month now with average use (4 to 6 hours/day) and can find nothing to complain about. Although it was big and heavy (61 lbs), my wife and I were able to set it up with no trouble. Programming instructions were a little difficult but we got through them fine. Very satisfied with this purchase and the price.

I love the 75” size and the clear, crisp picture. Easy to set up, although due to the large size I highly recommend using a helper for your safety and that of the television.

I have purchased Sony TV's for the last 20 years and boy am I glad I purchased this one. Easy to use, great apps, and a fabulous picture whether watching 4K or Regular HD.

TV has an excellent picture which seems to be the best you can get for the money. The colors are amazing and the full array local dimming creates nice deep blacks and contrasts. However I am disappointed by the Android Apps. They are very awkward to navigated through and the icons can not be rearranged like I want. For example to get to Vudu I need to click the right arrow button 15 times to reach it. I then redeemed a few 4K digital movies only to find out that both Vudu and Fandango do not play 4K movies on Sony TV's. So if your digital copy is not on either Google Play or Amazon Prime Video in 4K you will only get a 1080p version to view with the built in TV Apps. It is still a great TV, you may just need to hook up something like a new 4K ROKU or Apple TV to it for the best experience.

I've had the best Samsung Plasma you can buy for the last 8 years and did a ton of on-line research. I really do love Samsung and I have 5 Samsung TV's in my house. But this time I couldn't avoid all I was hearing about the 900 and when I went to the store it just confirmed it all. The picture is just incredible and the TV is a thing of beauty even when off. Paired with Apple 4K TV - I find myself searching out 4K content just to stare at the beauty of this TV!

I originally purchased the 75 inch Samsung MU800, and knew almost immediately that it was a bad buy. The pictures had serious blooming issues, and blacks that were not right as it's an edge lit television. After researching it further, I returned it and bought this TV and literally out of the box without any calibrations, the TV was head and shoulders above the Samsung. This is a back lit tv, so the blacks are stunning and there is no blooming. The interface and everything else is phenomenal, I cannot say enough good things about it. Buy it and don't look back.

I've always owned Samsung TVs. One because I couldn't afford Sony and two I thought they were just as good as Sony. This time I decided to splurge on the Sony, and it was worth ever penny. I actually have a 4K Samsung in my bedroom and I can't even stand to watch it now because the Sony has such better picture. It's so vibrant and crisp. I also love the smart features on this tv, even more than my Samsung. I would highly recommend this TV!
