Software Bugs Beware

Never should have purchased this TV. It turns itself on by itself at random times and there is no software fix for this according to Sony's site. This has been an ongoing software bug for many years. Wished I would have read reviews before this purchase. Also the Smart TV functions are extremely difficult to navigate. Sony filters out specific app's so you can't download them from the Play Store. Example DIscovery Go app and others. They need a non proprietary OS like Android Pure Edition. Let the owner decide what app's they want to install.

Stopped working, pink and green bars

I exchanged it the next day. It's now June 29th (3 months later) and TV is totally not working, display only shows green and pink bars all across the screen!

The picture quality was off. Even geek squad said that it must have been a “bad unit”and they sometimes see that but it’s very rare. Best Buy came out and brought us a new one and we couldn’t be happier with it!
