This review is for my initial observations as I've only had the TV for 4 days. First and foremost, the picture quality is phenomenal. 4k and uspcaled 1080P look incredible. HDR content looks very good as well. I've played with the picture settings a bit and it has some great presets but also a lot of freedom to tweak. As for setting it up, I found it very convenient to connect with my Android phone to input the Wi-Fi settings. I'm using the ARC feature to send audio to my non-4k pass through receiver. I don't know if it's an issue with the TV or the receiver but sometimes I need to change the settings to tv sound then back to external because I get no sound. It's a minor issue, and possibly not the fault of the TV, compared to the rest of the good things about this set. Voice recognition works well. So far I am very happy with the purchase.

When my Wife is impressed by a TV, it’s a winner. This full array 4K HDR screen is simply amazing. Replacing a 60” non-HDR 4K display, the extra 15” of screen real estate transforms our Living Room into a theater-like experience. I looked at this unit for months before taking the leap, and it’s worth every penny. Details are razor-sharp, blacks are absolutely black, and the color palate is unbelievably rich. The full array dimming was well worth the added cost of moving up to the 900 series. If you are on the fence on this one, jump! You will be glad you did.

So far this tv is fantastic.Great color and picture clarity. Netflix and Amazon viewing will blow you out of the water! I watched several tv's in the Magnolia room, most of which were much more expensive but this one was just as pleasing to my eye, others may prefer the more expensive ones but no complaints here. Have the Sony 5000 sound bar on order, can't wait to pair them.

It's great that this TV has Android TV integrated because pretty much everything I'd ever want on a TV is readily available without any extra gear needed (like Netflix, HBO, Amazon Video, WatchESPN, YoutubeTV, Hulu, etc.). All of those apps work seamlessly with the TV and the voice search built into the remote to open an app and search within an app works very well. Being able to cast your phone directly to the TV is a great feature as well. I dock one star because of two minor, but slightly annoying issues: 1) The TV isn't always responsive with the remote. I haven't figured out the cause yet, but sometimes I have to press the power button more than once to turn on or off the TV or it doesn't register when I click something the first time. Usually it never takes more than 2-3 tries when this does happen (roughly 15% of the time), but would make for a more polished product if this never occurred. 2) This product should work seamlessly with Google Home, but I have not been able to successfully turn on the TV and launch a video using Google Home. I have accounts linked with Google Home, but it tells me the feature is not yet supported. I imagine this will get fixed in firmware updates to come, but annoying that it doesn't presently work.

I am very happy with my Sony 900e. It has an amazing picture. My wife and I just watched the seventh season of Game of Thrones on it and wow, just wow! I also purchased the Sony 4K DVD player and it pairs up nicely. Overall well pleased.

I love this TV. It is very clear and enjoying the size. Only thing is sometimes the picture is not as clear because of channel not up to date with the high technology of picture pixels and other new features. Overall it’s an awesome TV. Although it was a hassle getting it mounted because the people that came contracted by Best Buy took a long time. Note for all ask about the extra $100 charge fee that they give you if mounting TV over the fireplace. This is a fee we were not aware of because that was not mentioned. Of course I threw a fit and the did not charge me.

Completely satisfied with the tv. Comes with sturdy stand. The picture is great. Smart tv features are easy and set up well for navigation. The audio is good but i wish they could pack the audio technology of some of these soundbars into the tvs to make them great. .

Pros Picture looks great Screen is huge Numerous built in apps HDR looks great on it Sound is acceptable given built in speakers always suck. Viewing angles are great especially considering the size Remote as a sturdy feel to it unlike some other brands in this size range Brightness is high enough that picture is good even in a well lit room Cons Main menu lags - however i'm rarely on it, i usually use Netflix shortcut on remote or switch directly to inputs. Main menu has apps that can't be removed that just clutter it up - again not on it often, but when i am find it annoying extremely slight black light bleed from top left corner - only noticeable on full black screens like Netflix loading screen Picture In Picture cannot do App and any other source (so no watching Netflix/Youtube/etc while doing anything else) Auto update never seems to happen - it says it will do it on next shutdown, but the tv never shuts down on its own it just goes into a sleep mode...which doesn't update it. Personal gripes I wish it had more HDMI inputs. In this day and age and for this price I shouldn't need to buy an HDM switch. Currently I have: Nintendo Switch PC PS4 Blu Ray Player Set Top Box luckily my sound bar acts as an HDMI switch

I love this set. It took a bit of tweaking in the image set up to get it looking like I wanted ~ my preferences are more "Film Look" than the Uber-Bright-High-Contrast you usually see with the 4K demos. This was easily accomplished with some guidance on-line. This set will not disappoint you, no matter what your tastes.

I'm not a real TV nerd and don't watch that much TV, but this one is great. The colors are vibrant and the picture is crisp - and we only have over-the-air TV. No cable or satellite. The best part is the guide. We hit 'guide' and all the channels and the shows appear like magic! Just like if we had cable or satellite.

We have had this great new TV for almost a month now. It is fabulous! We especially like the ability to "upgrade" picture quality of Netflix old TV series like Cheers and Friends. Included android apps, and ability to add aps works great. Installation service by Geek Squad was also great, effieicent, and timely.

I had a Samsung curved 4k HDR TV but it broke and I returned it in exchange for this Sony. I am very happy the switch happened. This TV is absolutely gorgeous. I use it heavily for movies, gaming and watching sports. It does all 3 very well. You will not be disappointed if you pick this up. Worth the money!

I read every review I could find online before making this purchase. I concur with everything that has been said previously. Its a great television and arguably the best 75" TV available this year. Picture quality is incredible in 4k and the upscaling of lower resolution content is also outstanding. My friend who bought a 9 series Samsung last year came over and was watching 4k content with me and said the picture quality is much much better than on his TV in his opinion. He wasn't too happy about it given how recently he purchased his set. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about it, except I wish it was cheaper. LOL.

At the 75 inch size they do not require an external power brick as they do with the smaller sizes which is a bonus. The power cord is pretty short. The picture is beautiful. Lots of menus and settings to tune it to your specifications. Game mode is great and it auto detects game consoles! Low lag. They did drop the android tablet from this model so you just get a standard remote. Apparently it is compatible with any android tablet as a remote. I have not tried yet.

We had purchased the cheap Vizio 75 inch from Costco, only to be disappointed by the picture and brightness. We returned the Vizio and got the Sony 900 on sale, and the picture is MUCH better! If you care about picture quality, save yourself the frustration and get the Sony...
