Good, but HDR is seems to be the next gimmick!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off by saying that this TV is exceptionally clear and the 4K quality is amazing. As a professional videographer I shoot in 4K and my footage looks great on this TV. I had a 2016 65" 4K Samsung 6 Series prior to this TV. This TV is superior to my Samsung in almost every way, but for the price and the hype I don't think it was worth the purchase. I ended up taking the TV back because I had wanted it because of the HDR. As a Photographer, the purpose of HDR is to be able to see detail in the SHADOWS and details in the HIGHLIGHTS similarly to how we can see these details with our eyes. The problem with the HDR setting and why I say it's a "gimmick" is that when you use this setting it SATURATES and CONTRASTS the picture, but you can do this in your own custom setting. To me it's just another PICTURE PRESET and just another hype to sell TVs. When I returned it, I spoke with the your gentlemen who worked there and they insisted on this TV being their favorite TV. They showed me the DEMO that Sony put out and of course it looked good. Sony would not release a demo that didn't. When they insisted on showing me a nature video from a blue ray, there happened to be a portion where there was a WHITE bird nesting on a DARK tree branch. When they used the HDR setting, it took made the brach detail look darker loosing detail and the bird lost detail in it's feathers. When the picture focused on the head of the bird and the they used the HDR button, the detail in the eye was lost becoming just a dark black eye. After showing them this, they understood my points and why I brought the TV back. They didn't say much after that. Like I said the TV is great, clear, and every inch is bright. If you are going to buy this TV, buy it for the clarity and the 4k, but if you are buying it for the HDR, I don't think it's worth the money and I would wait a year until the prices come down.

Fantastic 4K picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like to sit 4-5 ft from my new TV so that it encompasses most of my field of vision. Even that close to the screen, the picture is extremely clear and detailed. I was amazed that I could see even individual stones in a Italian mosaic that was just part of an outdoor scene.

Excellent tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First I bought a Samsung 75" MU8000 and noticed it was not as bright and vivid as my 65" SUHD Samsung. Even my wife said it kind of looked dull compared to our Samsung SUHD tv. So I did some research and and decided to exchange it for the sony 75" x900e. I've owned only Samsung TVs so I was scepitcal. But when I turned it on I was amazed at the picture quality, brightness and colors. I played horizon and battlefield on my PS4 PRO and it was night and day difference than the MU8000.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV. The picture is beautiful, colors are vibrant yet realistic. The smart TV is wonderful. I connect to Netflix, Amazon and other sites without any additional hardware. The 75" size is just terrific and a real treat to watch. We love this TV.

Best Tv great quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always wanted a TV which focus on black rather than white. This TV is best in that aspect and really like the quality and ease of using the apps.

Great Picture and theater experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a 25" Optical cord to connect theater system to use the Smart TV sound. Wish store had advised me of that on purchase or that the Geek Squad had them stocked on the truck. Required a second installer return and expense.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Sony 900e is the most beautiful TV I’ve ever owned. Sony Tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony 75" TV has good picture and 4K looks very good, but it is quirky. Sometimes I have to turn it on and off then o again so the picture comes on. It turns on by itself. I get up in the morning and it is on showing all the apps while a tv channel is on. Next time I purchase a new tv I will be going back to a Samsung. I always had a Samsung, but this was on sale. So now I have to live it.

Best tv ever had
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been thru a lot of tvs but Sony always prove it’s quality. I waited for the right timing to buy this tv but the wait was worth it. Did a down payment and I’m doing 24 months of no interest which I’m paying $50 a month.

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research online and this the best I found. It's great how it's virtually frameless so you get to have more screen. Unlike Samsung it's still adaptable with the old fashion wiring. Great picture.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was not sure a TV was worth this much money, but after reading all the great reviews I bought it. You won’t be disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My friends convinced me to go with the 900 over the 850 and I am glad I made the choice. Seeing is believing, the specs aren’t much different but once you see it in person the 900 is clearly the better choice.

Value Value Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony TVs have a well-deserved reputation. This 930 well continue to enhance that reputation. Great value for the price....Fantastic picture for a large (75") TV...I don't think an OLED would look any better.

Picture quality is superb!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went to my local Best Buy to replace the old plasma in my bedroom. I was not looking to spend too much money, after looking at the Sony in the Magnolia, I was in awe. No 2nd thoughts this time, no regrets on the price, this 75" XBR75X900E Sony is hanging in my living room. By far the Best TV I have owned. Watched 4K Ultra HD on Amazon & Netflix, Picture quality is superb. Cant wait for football season.

The Upgrade to HDR is Worth IT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.4K TVs have been around for a couple of years now and I honestly couldn't see enough of an improvement from 2K and 4K to make me upgrade from my 5 year old "HD" TV to any of last year's 4K TVs. However, this year's addition of HDR to available specifications and to a lesser extent UHD, makes a difference I can clearly appreciate. The Sony - 75" Class (74.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range produces a dazzling picture from a suitable source, such as my Xbox One X through a Denon AVR-S730H receiver. I know the big trend this year is OLED because of "the incredible deep blacks". However, I find that how deep the blacks look, is as much a function of how bright the lighting in the viewing area is, as it is the current technology. I was MUCH more impressed by the difference in price per screen size, than I was the difference in blackness between OLED and the Sony Bravia LED BACK-LIT screens, under the lighting conditions of my viewing room. I was able to afford the 75" model and the visual impact of that large screen size compared to similar priced 55"-65" OLED screens, made the Sony - 75" Class (74.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range the right choice for me. Add to that the reputation for Burned-in residual images that OLED displays are notorious for and it was a "no-brainer".

Amazing TV - Perfect for Sports!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the tv back in April and wanted to get plenty of time with it in place on the wall before I wrote a summary. We have a large room with a large bank of windows, I was concerned about having issues with brightness levels, but the tv is fantastic with motion flow and it's brightness levels. I have the brightness and other picture settings adjusted and it's a great tv. We couldn't be happier with the purchase and very glad we went with the 75" vs the 65"
