Let me start by saying, I’ve been a Samsung television customer for over a decade. Samsung’s poor quality and customer service drove me to this unit, and I couldn’t be happier. After 2 failed 75 inch QLED TV’s over a year and a half, I had had it with Samsung. Obviously their picture is slightly (and I do mean slightly) better than this unit but durability And support is key for me going forward. Again, I am thrilled with this unit, the colors are great and the sound is even better. Typically we use a high end sound bar with our televisions, with this unit you don’t need it, unless you want a truly cinematic experience (do you really need surround sound while watching the news?). The remote could be configured a little better as it’s a tad bulky and not intuitive to a users needs. I never thought I would be a Samsung convert, I am now! I believe Sony will be our go to, from here on out. You can’t go wrong with this unit!

Smart purchase. The X950H 75” looked to be the best option for us. We researched our product options for weeks before deciding on the 950H.
Thought hard about the Sony OLED panel, but with the mix of a bright viewing area and non friendly viewing content, we thought the X950H fit the bill.
The set and remote are of the quality one would expect from Sony. The display is remarkable, living up to its superior specs in the 75” class. Sony using the Android OS is a nice plus, quite peppy and easy to use. At this writing, with the set installed for only three weeks, we have only noticed one quirk, relating to the first firmware update. Right after the set doing its first firmware update, everything, the apps and content froze. When none of the home or back remote buttons would work, we shutoff the set, then unplugged it. Waiting a minute before plugging it back in and turning it back on did the trick. We are hoping this was a fluke and future F/W updates will be seamless. Otherwise a fantastic set.

This TV is packed with features! The Android OS is nice and snappy, and it can also connect to Apple Homekit. The picture is beautiful, and the price for this size TV is hard to beat.
After being frustrated with Samsung TV's for so long, I'm so glad to that this Sony Bravia turned out to be with the extra cost.

As the ads say, the Sony 75" X950H looks great from any angle. The colors and brightness look equally fantastic whether viewed straight on from our living room sofa or from a fairly sharp side angle in our kitchen.
The full array LEDs/local dimming work as advertised and achieve contrast accuracy that is worth every extra penny.
Although we will be getting a sound bar, which currently is on backorder, the built in sound system with Dolby Atmos is impressive on its own and would be more than acceptable when a full surround setup is not feasible.
Highly recommended.

The X850H has exceeded my expectations in almost every way. I was on the fence between a much more expensive OLED model vs. the X850H VA panel, and am satisfied with my final choice. The blacks are black, the colors are vibrant, and the glare reduction of the X850 vs. X800 is noticeable.
The only downside that I can see to this TV is lack of HDMI 2.1, and a very slightly decrease in brightness at the extreme corners of the panel. The HDMI 2.1 issue isn't a big deal as long as you are not doing 4K 120 Hz gaming. The brightness drop-off at the corners is only slightly annoying in high-brightness scenes like Youtube videos and still images.
The Android/Google TV user interface is extremely snappy, with much quicker response than the older X800E 65" we have in another room.

Great tv. But it was not great out of the box. Too much green in the faces and colors way out of balance. Got great settings at avsforum.com that made things much better. Unfortunately not a lot of 4k programming these days (hoping for more sports) but what is available is fantastic. Picture is super sharp and fast motion sports like football, basketball and hockey are really good. Great contrast, deep blacks and realistic colors which is why we chose this over the color exaggerated Samsung Q80/90. TV is directly in front of a window about 18 feet away and it handles that reflection very well. Have not used much of the android features yet so can't speak to that. And no interest in gaming so can't speak to that either. As a 4k tv in a bright room though, it's tremendous.

Excellent TV. The first one had issues in dark scenes. It was within the first two weeks so BB came out and replaced it. The sound is fine, I'm not going to comment too much on that. I didn't buy it for the sound, as mine is part of a 5.1 surround system. Picture is gorgeous with all sorts of content. DirectTV, streaming from Roku, discs, etc. I use the custom setting with minimal adjustments. The better the source the better the picture. Some 4k content looks better than others. HDR is amazing. Motion processing is great as well. We have this TV and a fairly well lit living room, and watch a fair amount of daytime TV and the picture is great with sports, movies, or whatever you are watching. 4 stars instead of 5 becuase sometime I feel like the Samsung has a bit better contrast. But maybe I haven't played with the settings enough. Anyway, awesome TV overall.

The picture of this Sony 75" 950H seems very good, bright, good color, good viewing angle. The sound with the dialog boost is great and we probably won't get a sound bar or an audio system. I like the operating systems (google) and control. We are able to watch any source of streaming content from one home page without having to switch HDMI inputs. It really simplified everything. It is also responsive.
Salesman was good: Friendly, knowledgeable and patient. But we felt ghosted after the sale when trying to deal with a problem.
The original 950H developed a row of dead pixels after about 8 hours of operation. Best Buy made a quick, easy exchange. However, they did not pick up their phone. We had to drive 2 hours from a small town in rural Minnesota, not knowing the outcome. Otherwise we could have paid a hefty fee for the Geek Squad to make the exchange.
But for the problem, I would give this a 5 star rating.

My husband wanted this tv because he has a hard time seeing. Well he loves it! I do too! The size is not that big really. He said he should’ve gone with the 85. The picture is beautiful!! You’re right there in the scene practically. The color is great out of the box! No need to adjust it. It’s a smart TV, so it listens to voice commands. I love that it can play a movie on Netflix with a command. Since it works with Hey google it also turns on and off from our google speakers or the tv itself. It pauses and plays with a voice command too. The feet were a little tricky to place. We had to see a video but we were able to do it afterwards. Overall, we love our new TV!!!

I have had several large screen Sony TV's over the past 15 years. All of them with great picture quality, color, and dependable. However this one tops them all. The picture quality is crisp and clear weather it be live TV, streaming, or watching a Blu Ray / DVD. Colors literally burst before your eyes. The Geek Squad members who installed it said it was the best TV they had ever seen - and they see a high number in their job. The DirecTV installer said it was the same. I'm thankful that the Best Buy team member in the store said "this is the TV you need to go with".

Bought it new for $2,000 less than 2 years ago. The processor kept freezing somwe would have to do factory reboot/resets. Then finally the failure of a TV gotten worse by shutting itself off at start up, then I got the bottom red light indicator that flashes 4 times throwing an error code. I called bestbuy and they were of zero assistance, once it gors out of warranty they bascially dont care and say youre out-of-luck. This has been a bad tv from the start, im really shocked with Sony, their quality isnt no where what it used to be, niw they are just selling (lemons) garbage tv’s using their Sony badge to ensure a sale and higher price. I then ordered all new factory circuit boards, being the T-con board, power supply board, main (mother) board, and even internet wifi board. I meticulously replaced all boards. Sure enough the tv was doing the same thing! So it wasnt the boards it was a bad screen ti begin with! Very sad because at that ooint the screen is worth up to 80% of the tv. When that happens the advice is to just buy another new tv! We have a 60” okd vizio from years ago acting as a spare tv and it still works just fine in our living room where our garbage Sony was. I will NEVER buy a Sony TV again! I’ll be better off saving $1000 ans just get a Hisense U8 75” mini LED google TV . What a shame on Sony!!! Buyer beware. If best buy had a heart, they would let me bring in my Sony (XBR-75X950H) that i bought there and allow me to get some money off of the hisesne on a trade-in! Please help me best buy and honor this fair request because i was sold a bad lemon!

My previous tv was a top model Panasonic plasma and was very happy with it and was hating the day I would have to go to an led tv but I was really surprised and happy with its picture quality. Human facial tones look real and the black level is also good color is great and motion is also greZy. I went with this tv because of the size and my bright room. Side angle is ire and Claire resistant is pretty decent concidering I have a 16 foot sliding door to the right of the tv and it does very well considering. Movies look amazing and natural can’t wait to have it calibrated.

This is a great TV. Sony really does it best. I am, however, disappointed with the remote. The remote on this TV will not control my Bose speaker. I also feel the remote is cheap and clunky looking as compared to other manufacturers. This TV purchase was to replace a Vizio that developed a discoloration spot in the picture. I originally purchased two Samsung TV’s before this one, that both needed returned because of picture problems. I should have bought the Sony first and saved myself the headache but I was trying to save some money. In the end it is true, “ you get what you pay for”. Spend the extra cabbage and buy a Sony. They know electronics.

As an owner of the 2017 Sony flagship 75x940e, I am very impressed with the outstanding clarity, brightness, and wide angle viewing the 75x950H provides. If you appreciate the classic cinematic presentation a Sony produces, the 950H should be on your short list. The HDR performance is impressive, with deep blacks along side bright specular highlights with little blooming. The average 1000 nits and much appreciated low-reflection is amply bright for our family room with many windows. I just love this TV.

I was contemplating between 65 inch OLED and 75 inch Full Array LED, and finally got the Sony 950H and totally loved it. The blacks are perfect! I still have to dim the lights to enjoy it. Android TV is great, coming from a 2013 55 inches 4k, this TV has exceeded the expectations. The built-in speakers are good enough on case you are not planning to invest in a sound bar. If you are, go for a 3 channel Sound bar. Overall, awesome TV, a bit expensive since it is a Full Array LED.
