    TV MAKES A CRACKLING/STATIC NOISE WHEN ON NETFLIX AND AMAZON PRIME. IVE CHANGED THE ALL THE SETTING INCLUDING ON NETFLIX BUT IT IS NOT FUN CHANGING THEM BEFORE EVERY EPISODE…$2500 on a tv and it can’t play Netflix… should’ve stuck to my $400 Vizio tv

    LIGHT BLEED UNBEARABLE

    The light bleed on this TV is absolutely horrible! It started getting bad of course about a month after the warranty ran out and Sony won't do anything about it. DO NOT BUY THIS TV! You will regret it.

    Tv had a red line in it only notice when there blue scenes in the background but for that amount of cash no flaws accepted I love sony product s but this 1 thumbs down

    The sound flakes out every now and then, restarting the TV doesn’t help. Many hours later it starts working again!

    I bought this TV in two months ago and I’ve barely turned it off. The picture is outstanding, right out of the box. Bright where it needs to be bright, dark where it needs to be dark. Perfect side-angle viewing. Stunning color. I researched TVs for far too long, but I’m so glad I chose this Sony.

    NEVER AGAIN Ours was great until on 4th year 4th month and 6th day the dreaded blinking red light came on. Then i was told by a technician to just get another TV.

    TV has a nice picture. The internal speakers are poor. The TV only lasted 3 1/2 years before MAJOR hardware problems. The control board went out.

    As a former Sony user who had moved over to Samsung, I couldn't be happier with the X950H. My wife and I both felt that Sony was far superior to Samsung regarding a natural look to the picture. "Pop" is nice, but Sony offers more of a realistic tone to their color. Viewing from an angle is no issue whatsoever and we found all menus to be intuitive and easy to navigate. After much research we believe that our purchase matched our expectations; which was a high bar. The big surprise for us is the quality of the sound. I have a high end 5.1 sound system. With this set I don't find it necessary to use the sound system 100% of the time; as I did with my previous set. All in all, we are very pleased with our purchase and happy to be back with Sony. I can not see anyone being disappointed with this TV.

    My 75" 950H

    I purchased the 75" 950H to replace a 3 year old 65" 900F and am extremely pleased with my wife and I are extremely with the purchase and the installation from our Magnolia store here in St Louis. The crew was fast, curtious and professional. It's takes a few days of running it to let everything settle in and folks have to allow it to do this before making a big deal over some color oddities. Give it a chance to settle in then you be amazed at how it looks. I paired this up with a Panasonic 9000 blue player and rewatched one of my older disc Gladiator in Dolby Vision and was just blown away by how well it looked. I haven't had a chance to really go through the apps yet but what little I have they are much faster to load and go through. All in all this is a great set and highly recommend it

    Amazing colors and accuracy

    I contemplated for two or three months, I picked up the Q80T at first. I had it shipped and when I got it, it was cracked. I had to send it back and I decided to do some more research. I must’ve looked over hundreds of videos and reviews. I then decided on this one, because of the good black uniformity, gray uniformity, and because I watch a lot of sports. And I watch a lot of all-around content. I’ve heard Sony has the best is upscaler on the market. That was not wrong! This TV is incredible! It’s so good it’s almost distracting. I strongly recommend this TV. Out of the box the colors are good, and takes it a little adjusting to your own viewing likeness. Other than that it is gorgeous. Highly highly highly recommend this TV

    Has terrible motion issues, and buggy Android firm

    I got this because it's supposed to have a very high brightness in nits. However, motion is terrible when it's bright. When it pans there is very annoying flicker like on edges of building/trees. You can fix it by changing settings in motion, but then it loses the majority of brightness. Android also has some bugs. If you turn some settings on/off, the yellow LED light comes on all the time. Even when you set it to be off in settings it still stays on, it supposedly is for the mic audio being used. Last, but not least. After updating android and firmware in an attempt to fix the LED light issue, it now has permanent ads on the home screen. Advertisements on a $2k+ TV, nuts.

      Google recently released two new features called Highlights on your home screen and Subscriptions in a snap. These features were included in the latest Android TV Launcher app (Home app) update. Unfortunately, you cannot completely hide or block the ads. However, you can select the 'why this ad' option.

    X950H Issues

    Just got my X950H yesterday, and I must say the picture quality is not as sharp as I hoped it would be. I saw some lagging a few times, and I was surprised as I replaced an old Samsung that's at least 5 years old and I never saw that on it. That aside, the biggest problem I have is this morning I connect my 1TB USB drive which I use for my videos, and it's taking forever to show an accurate number of files in my folders, or the just don't load at all and just keeps saying please wait or I get a spinning circle. I have 4K videos on the drive that I could not see with my old tv, and it seems I cannot see on my new tv. At $2399, this is a deal breaker and unless something can be done to fix this, I will be returning this TV. Lastly, I would prefer to not have video thumbnails if that's what's causing the delay. Is there a way to turn them off to speed things up?

    This Sony x950h led tv replaced an old big screen box tv we had that we actually still thought had a decent picture. When we went to the store the sales rep explained all the TVs and we looked at several.

    Sony is not what it once was

    Tv goes black and powers down just like many of the other online reviewers report. I hardly watch TV and this unit is only three months old. Sony support is not helpful at all and essentially ask you to spend about two hours trouble shooting a TV that is poorly manufactured. I had been a fan of Sony for years but will now stay with LG or Samsung of which I also have and never experienced any issues with.
