The TV comes delivered with relatively accurate settings from the factory, with just a small amount of tweaking needed. This TV has surprisingly good black levels, and astonishing brightness compared to plasma. Feed it a clean 4k source, and the colors are wonderful. I don't miss the Panasonic at all.

My complaint is the Smart TV interface. Connecting the apps I wanted to use was a little more difficult than expected. Since this is a Google device the interface with my Amazon Echo doesn't seem to work. The salesman assured me it would not be an issue. But the biggest drawback is apps tend to freeze a lot. I can have the same app running on a fire stick on other TVs and they do not freeze.

Very happy with another X9XX series TV

However, now that football is back on, it's a great tv to have to really enjoy the game from anywhere within the 175+ degree viewing angle. Even with the TV on the north wall of the room with the sun coming in through the west windows, images are not washed out. This is worth the money.

Great Picture for a LCD

But getting Sony's top 75" LCD at $2000 was to good for me to pass up. I put this in my master bedroom and it is a great television for a LCD. The blacks are good with very little bleed through. I do like to have a TV that has a good picture with no worry of image retention and this one fits perfectly.

Recently also bought two LG 4k tvs for our bedroom and game room, but have always loved the picture quality of the Sonys. After hooking it up, I am glad we stuck with Sony for our main TV. The LGs are pretty, but this Sony just blows them away. As soon as we powered it on and the initial setup splash screen came on, my sons and I all exclaimed together how superior the image quality was. We launched into a 4k movie and it was amazing. One specific example in difference is watching The Expanse (space sci fi on Amazon Prime). There are bright indoor scenes and dark space scenes. Being full array, the Sony does a great job of only lighting around the ships when showing space scenes. The halo effect is very minimal. It is much more pronounced on the LGs (though much better if the brightness is turned down). Another point of note is how little time I have spent tweaking the image settings. On the LGs, I had to go through several menus and turn off all the stuff that I think makes the images worse in order to get it where I was happy with how the tvs looked. Not so on the Sony. I turned off Motion flow and nothing else. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Picture is outstanding with little picture calibration required out of the box. HDR and Dolby Vision clarity is impressive. E-arc support for connection to Sonos Arc soundbar and Dolby Atmos content. Many great SMART features with 4K clarity

This TV works with streaming and screen sharing from mobile devices including laptops with Airplay and Chromecast options. Intuitive once you get used to the interface and explore the multiple settings. Geek Squad suggested that most app if able to download directly to the TV should be watched that way to be able to take advantage of the 4K option as most 3rd party SMART devices like Amazon Fire, AppleTV, Roku, etc. don't have enough of a hard drive to support 4K and above options. There is a distinct difference in picture and sound quality! This TV will last another 10yrs with the way SONY does the software updates! Worth every penny to invest in SONY! Paired with my BOSE speaker/SONY AR wired surround sound system, we have our personal home movie theater, sports arena, music concert for everything we play on it! YAY! Winning combination!!

The last Sony we had before this one was a 36 inch Trinitron tube tv in the late 80's early 90's that weighed close to 200 lbs, what a beast but great picture quality. We wanted a bigger screen so we went with a 55" Vizio then a 65" Samsung...They were ok but kept having service calls to replace motherboards on both of them.... Here it is 2021 and we were waiting for this tv to get to our magic # price wise and could NOT be happier with our decision...We wanted to stay with LED tech and this 950H fills in the blanks on everything we were looking for. It's true when they say nothing looks like a Sony and trust me when I say that's a great thing.

This is the second Sony Bravia tv that we have purchased. Our first one is 10 years old and still going strong. Our current purchase replaces a Samsung that burned out in less than 8 years. Granted, this TV replaces one that had a Scotch plaid of lines across it, seemingly one more line each week, so admittedly the viewing bar was pretty low, but the colors are amazing on the Sony, and the picture quality is outstanding.

Once we got it home and installed we found out it doesn’t have Britbox. Very disappointed. The TV picture is great, but now we gave to watch a lot our shows o our old TV unless we want to buy another streaming service which is what we Didn’t want to do.

I have to tell you that this set is simply off the charts! The clarity and color that it produces is really breath taking. In reading the reviews on the Best Buy web site, it became clear that this was going to be our choice and we are very happy with the end result. As always, the Geek Squad guys came over and set everything up; this is always money well spent, especially when you consider the investment that you are making- well done guys. In closing, just an excellent TV- the picture and features that it offers is just outstanding and we are looking forward to several years of enjoyment!

Have a 900 in the great room and bought the 950 this Xmas for the basement. Both are super bright and sound bar provides excellent sound. Geek squad installed both, and did a great job with in-wall wiring and mounting tilt bracket.

No ghosting, no blooming. Great upscaling too, lower res sources look really nice.
